World Wrestling Federation conducted Monday night Raw edition at Worcester Centrum Centre, Worcester, Massachusetts on January 4, 1999 to entertain wrestling fans. This is first Monday night Raw is War event in this year. This Monday night Raw is War edition builds story for 1999 Royal Rumble main event. Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole were official commentators.

The entire Corporation was alerted in order to get ready to face any unforeseen situation. Mr. McMahon instructs his teammates to punish Shawn Michaels. Actually, Mr. McMahon has fired Shawn Michaels last week.
The heart break kid Shawn Michaels’ music hits and received amazing response from wrestling fans. He officially announced; he has returned to Monday night Raw is War. He actually brought something with him. Mr. McMahon did not understand what he is actually saying. In few moments, D Generation X music hits. The chairman has shocked by seeing DX. DX has received amazing response from wrestling fans.

According to the DX members have found one way to protect Shawn Michaels’ job. In other words, Mr. McMahon had officially stated to national television, he does not have right to fire Shawn Michaels. However, Shawn Michaels has to resign to his job. Shawn Michaels does not want to resign to his job. So, Shawn Michaels officially took charge as WWF Commissioner once again. Shawn Michaels also said to Mr. McMahon that you can’t fire me. Due to this announcement, Mr. McMahon indirectly received sweet chin music for long time.
Mr. McMahon used to say he can make everyone’s dreams come true. At this time, Shawn Michaels would like to make Mr. McMahon’s dream comes true. Shawn Michaels has shown the footage of 3 weeks’ ago Monday night Raw is War. In that footage, Vince McMahon got #2 Royal Rumble’s participant but he would like to enter into Royal Rumble as #30th participant. Shawn Michaels said that Vince McMahon could become new WWF Champion by winning the 1999 Royal Rumble.
As a WWF Commissioner, the heart break kid Shawn Michaels does not want to allow Mr. McMahon to participate in Royal Rumble as #30th participant. However, he ordered the chairman of the world wrestling federation to enter into Royal Rumble as second participant. Similarly, he announced Stone cold Steve Austin is going to enter into 30 man battle royal as first participant. Obviously the second man who will be entering into royal rumble with Stone Cold Steve Austin is Vine McMahon. Before going to leave this building, he would like to give a surprise to Mr. McMahon. Later, Mankind changed his mind. In few moments, Mr. McMahon, Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco came but did not dare to enter into ring. However, Mankind claimed a WWF Championship match in this wrestling edition and the match should be no disqualification match. Finally, Shane McMahon granted it because of severe pain. Later, Vince McMahon, Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson helped Shane McMahon but The Rock argued with Mr. McMahon due to this sudden surprise.
