World Wrestling Entertainment presented WWE Smackdown edition at IZOD center on January 2, 2009 for WWE wrestling fans. Jim Ross and Tazz are official commentators for this weekly edition. Justin Roberts is official ring announcer for this wrestling edition.
Smackdown brand ring announcer Justin Roberts introduced WWE Smackdown brand general manager Vickie Guerrero. Vickie Guerrero appeared in this first edition of this year. Wrestling fans did not give much response to her presence. However, Vickie Guerrero does not care their response. Vickie Guerrero said, Happy New Year. Vickie Guerrero said, 2008 was really great and 2009 will be really fine. Vickie Guerrero talked about road to WrestleMania and also talked about Royal Rumble. Vickie Guerrero announced a Royal Rumble wrestling match which is a WWE Championship match between Jeff Hardy and her husband Edge. Vickie Guerrero talked about 30 man royal rumble match. Vickie Guerrero decided to announce list of Smackdown wrestling superstars who are entering into Royal Rumble. However, Vickie Guerrero decided to announce them later in this wrestling edition. Vickie Guerrero once again said Happy New Year to all.
Vickie Guerrero decided to return to her office. Suddenly, the game Triple H music hits and Vickie Guerrero is shocked. Wrestling fans gave amazing response for his presence. Triple H took microphone and entered into wrestling ring. Triple H said Happy New Year to Vickie Guerrero. Vickie Guerrero felt very happy. Triple H said, i know it is favorite holiday of the year because it is time for Royal Rumble. Triple H said, i know i am exciting and i can’t wait. Triple H said, his name should be in top place in list of Smackdown superstars. Vickie Guerrero said, you and everyone will know the list of Royal Rumble superstars tonight. Triple H said, i am not patience. Triple H said, everywhere in this world wrestling fans chanted his name. Wrestling fans also chanted Triple H’s name. Vickie Guerrero gave a warning to Triple H. Triple H will not be in Royal Rumble if he continued his behavior with her. Triple H said, that’s really a big problem because Smackdown guy may not win the Royal Rumble if i am not entered into Royal Rumble.
So, every wrestling fan and entire WWE Universe considered Vickie Guerrero as weak General Manager. Obviously, Vickie Guerrero fired and then fall into security. Triple H showed the official Vickie Guerrero’s action figure. Triple H insulted Vickie Guerrero. Vickie Guerrero seriously reacted and does not want to argue with Triple H further. Vickie Guerrero finally announced Triple H is in Royal Rumble. Triple H and entire wrestling world felt very happy. Triple H felt very happy and said thanks to Vickie Guerrero. Vickie Guerrero became very serious and ordered Triple H to leave the wrestling ring immediately. Triple H said, don’t worry i leave ring but there is one little thing. Triple H took of clothes of Vickie Guerrero’s action figure. Triple H said to Vickie Guerrero, your action figure is too hot. Triple H founded some photos when he searches Internet for information. All those photos are Vickie Guerrero’s photos.
Vickie Guerrero said, i never took any such type of photos. Triple H said, Are you sure Vickie? All those photos are seen in eBay. Vickie Guerrero said, you are a great sales woman and it is great trick of business person. Triple H said, those photos are indexed in eBay for auction by the Chavo cheat. Vickie Guerrero ran and left ring. Vickie Guerrero ran to her office and Triple H continued mocking by saying Excuse me.
At backstage, The Great Khali, Ranjin Singh, Hornswoggle and Finlay take photos.

After this wrestling match, WWE interviewer Eve Torres invited former WWE Divas Champion Michelle McCool. Eve Torres said to Michelle McCool, Michelle … you are not lost your Divas Championship and also cheated by Maryse. Eve Torres showed last week match preview. In that preview, Michelle McCool seriously reacted his failure and injured Maria. Eve Torres said, i thought you and maria are friends. Michelle McCool conformed her statement by telling about their friendship. Michelle McCool talked about her achievements and dreams. Michelle McCool misunderstood Maria. Eve Torres also said same thing. Eve Torres tried to remake their friendship. Michelle McCool seriously considered Eve Torres’ suggestion and left from interview.
World Wrestling Entertainment showed Edge and his wife Vickie Guerrero. Vickie Guerrero reported to Edge about Triple H’s attitude. Edge seriously considered his wife pictures in eBay. In few moments, Big Show came and stood in sofa. Big Show said, i have also seen those pictures. Vickie Guerrero became very emotional and left that room. Edge and Big Show argued about this issue. Similarly, Edge also talked about Royal Rumble match.

Suddenly, WWE United States Champion Shelton Benjamin music hits and appeared in this Smackdown weekly wrestling edition. Shelton Benjamin said to Jim Ross, you should not introduce me as participant of Royal Rumble. In other words, Jim Ross has to introduce himself as winner of Royal Rumble as per his inner heart feelings. Shelton Benjamin ordered Jim Ross to leave the wrestling ring. Shelton Benjamin said to wrestling fans, i have been still WWE United States Champion for six months. Shelton Benjamin said, he decided to become new WWE Champion at WrestleMania by winning the Royal Rumble. As per Shelton Benjamin’s statement, there is reason to call him as Gold Standard.
Shelton Benjamin praised himself by telling about his ability and skills. Similarly, there is no one in Royal Rumble to compare with Gold Standard Shelton Benjamin. Shelton Benjamin said, i don’t care Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Fit Finlay or R-Truth. Suddenly, someone voice said, i think you forgot someone. The lights OFF and The Undertaker appeared in wrestling ring in front of Shelton Benjamin. Shelton Benjamin tried to injure The Undertaker but The Undertaker destroyed him with chockslam. The Undertaker returned to backstage by concentrating on Royal Rumble.
Former Divas Champion Michelle McCool music hits and appeared in this wrestling edition. Michelle McCool entered into wrestling ring. Michelle McCool took microphone and said an apology. Maria can’t be here. Michelle McCool said, i don’t where you are and i don’t know whether you listen me or not but please accept my apology. Michelle McCool said sorry to Maria. Michelle McCool invited Eve Torres. Eve Torres music hits and appeared in this wrestling edition. Eve Torres entered into wrestling ring. Michelle McCool said thanks to Eve Torres. Michelle McCool also sorry to Eve Torres. Michelle McCool hugged Eve Torres. Eve Torres stepped out ring but attacked by Michelle McCool. Michelle McCool destroyed Eve Torres for her suggestion earlier tonight. WWE officials ordered Michelle McCool to go to backstage.
World Wrestling Entertainment showed Chavo Guerrero and WWE Smackdown General Manager Vickie Guerrero on screen. Vickie Guerrero seriously thinks for her photos in eBay and Internet. Vickie Guerrero asked Chavo Guerrero, Have u seen those photos? Chavo Guerrero said no no. Suddenly, Triple H came and Chavo Guerrero became serious. Vickie Guerrero demanded an apology from Triple H. Triple H laughed and said, i don’t even download your pictures from Internet. Vickie Guerrero decided to punish Triple H by arranging three matches those are Tables match, handicap match and Last Man Standing match. Chavo Guerrero and Vickie Guerrero insulted Triple H.
