World Wrestling Entertainment conducted beat the clock challenge wrestling match between Batista and R Truth on January 1, 2010 in Smackdown wrestling edition. As we already know, CM Punk set 7 minutes 20 seconds target by defeating matt hardy. However, Rey Mysterio changed the entire situation by defeating Chris Jericho in 7 minutes 19 seconds time. Later, Rey Mysterio attended to this wrestling match.

Actually, Rey Mysterio lost a golden opportunity to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion against the undertaker mainly due to batista’s interference in last week Smackdown edition even though he won #1 contender’s match against batista previously. That’s why Rey Mysterio decided to attend this wrestling match.

The animal Batista finally faced another Smackdown brand superstar R Truth in this wrestling edition. The animal batista gave excellent starting to this wrestling match and well handled his opponent with dominating wrestling performance. R Truth also tried to control him but failed. Finally, Batista almost reached his goal to this match but Rey Mysterio interrupted this match by pulling match referee at last second.
