As we already know, Batista defeated WWE Unified tag team champion Chris Jericho in last week Smackdown edition. The Big Show seriously considered and challenged Batista a match on same night. As per his challenge, The Animal Batista faced WWE Unified tag team champion The Big Show at WWE Smackdown on September 25, 2009. Chris Jericho also appeared with The Big Show.

The Big Show surprised Batista by throwing Batista twice. Batista gave hand punches and tried close line but The Big Show blocked his close line. Later, The Big Show gave hot arm shots on his chest. Batista tried to control The big show but failed. Chris Jericho felt very happy. The Big Show made a mistake by hitting ring rope. Batista pushed Big Show to outside of the wrestling ring. Chris Jericho diverted Batista’s concentration and The Big Show speared Batista.

The Big Show increased pressure on Batista’s neck and then squeezed Batista’s kidney area. The Big show later dropped his leg. The Big Show once again increased pressure. The Big Show slammed Batista. The Big Show made a mistake by dropping his body over Batista. Batista later speared The Big Show. Batista applied ankle lock and match referee disqualified The Big Show when Chris Jericho interfered in this match. Batista also applied ankle lock on Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho was tapped out.
