Jesse and Festus music hits and appeared at Smackdown edition on January 2, 2009. Justin Roberts introduced Jesse and Festus to this wrestling edition. Jesse and Festus entered into wrestling ring and wait for their opponents. In few moments, Brian Kendrick music hits. The Brian Kendrick and Ezekiel Jackson appeared in this wrestling edition. Justin Roberts also introduced The Brian Kendrick and Ezekiel Jackson to wrestling fans. Ezekiel Jackson and The Brian Kendrick entered into wrestling ring to face Jesse and Festus in tag team action. Match referee officially started this wrestling match by allowing time keeper to ring the bell. Festus is released and attacked The Brian Kendrick and Ezekiel Jackson with hand shots. Festus reversed Ezekiel Jackson but Ezekiel Jackson reversed situation. However, Festus gave a powerful reverse elbow shot to Ezekiel Jackson. Festus later concentrated on The Brian Kendrick and threw him towards their corner.

Festus gave an upper shot to The Brian Kendrick in their corner. Festus lifted The Brian Kendrick and slammed. Festus gave a tag to his tag team partner Jesse. Jesse entered into wrestling ring. Festus lifted Jesse and slammed over The Brian Kendrick. Jesse covered The Brian Kendrick to submit pin fall but The Brian rejected his pin fall in order to save this tag team match. Jesse hits head of the Brian Kendrick at one corner of the wrestling ring. Jesse kicked into his stomach area. Jesse reversed The Brian Kendrick and increased pressure on his back and left shoulder. Jesse turned his neck. The Brian Kendrick stood on feet and kicked on his right leg. The Brian also gave an elbow shot into stomach area. However, Jesse gave an elbow shot to The Brian Kendrick surprisingly. Jesse covered The Brian Kendrick to submit pin fall but The Brian Kendrick rejected his pin fall in order to save this wrestling match.

Jesse brings The Brian Kendrick to their corner and gave a tag to Festus. Festus once again entered into wrestling ring. Jesse reversed The Brian Kendrick and Festus gave a powerful uppercut to The Brian Kendrick. Festus became emotional and jumped over The Brian Kendrick. The Brian Kendrick reached one corner of the wrestling ring and Festus tried to attack The Brian Kendrick but reached a boot shot. The Brian Kendrick stood on top rope of one corner and jumped over Festus. However, Festus caught The Brian Kendrick but his knee is damaged. The Brian Kendrick decided to use this advantage. The Brian Kendrick gave three leg shots on that injured knee. Festus threw The Brian Kendrick to their corner and The Brian Kendrick gave an official tag to his tag team partner Ezekiel Jackson. Ezekiel Jackson entered into wrestling ring. Ezekiel Jackson damaged his knee by attacking from behind.

Ezekiel Jackson worked over injured knee of Festus continuously. However, Festus tried to save his knee from Ezekiel Jackson. Ezekiel Jackson hits his knee with ground. Ezekiel Jackson gave a tag to his tag teammate The Brian Kendrick. The Brian Kendrick goes top rope and dropped his knee over that injured knee. The Brian Kendrick damages his knee with leg shot and drop kick. Once again The Brian Kendrick tried to attack him with leg shots but Festus pushes The Brian Kendrick twice when The Brian Kendrick tried to attack him. However, Festus lifted The Brian Kendrick and dropped his body. Festus gave an official tag to Jesse. Jesse entered into wrestling ring to face The brian kendrick. Jesse attacked The brian kendrick as well as Ezekiel Jackson. Jesse gave a close line to The Brian Kendrick and then injured him with atomic drop. Jesse gave a powerful hand shot to the brian kendrick. Jesse reversed the brian kendrick towards one corner of the wrestling ring and gave a powerful close line.

Similarly, The Brian Kendrick is reversed to opposite corner and Jesse injured him with close line. Jesse continuously gave powerful hand shots to The Brian Kendrick. Jesse surprised by damaged his neck with neck breaker. Jesse covered the brian kendrick to submit pin fall but Ezekiel Jackson kicked Jesse in order to interrupt pin fall. Festus seriously considered and gave two powerful upper cuts and then boot shot but Ezekiel Jackson escaped from his boot shot. Ezekiel Jackson threw Festus to outside of the wrestling ring. In this mean time, The Brian Kendrick injured Jesse by throwing him over ring ropes. Jesse threw The Brian Kendrick towards their corner and Ezekiel Jackson made tag. Jesse back suplexed the brian kendrick. Ezekiel Jackson destroyed Jesse with powerful power slam. Ezekiel Jackson defeated Jesse through pin fall. Ezekiel Jackson and Brian Kendrick celebrated his victory with wrestling fans and returned to backstage happily.
