The new #1 contender John Cena finally got a change to face WWE Champion Brock Lesnar for WWE Championship at wrestling pay per view Backlash 2009. Actually, John Cena won two WWE Championship #1 contender’s matches to qualify to this wrestling match. Mr. Cena announced himself as new WWE Champion and told to every wrestling fan to consider him as one of the great WWE Champions.

However, #1 contender did not receive much response from wrestling fans but WWE Champion Brock Lesnar received amazing response from wrestling fans. The #1 contender John Cena attacked WWE Champion brock lesnar from behind. However, John Cena received serious punishment from WWE Champion Brock Lesnar.

Due to steel steps, Brock Lesnar was bleeding. John Cena decided to use this advantage to become new Champion by handling Brock Lesnar with his wrestling skills. He further damaged his head with steel ring pole. John Cena impressed wrestling fans with his amazing wrestling performance.
