A new wrestling superstar Paul London met Chairman of the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and introduced himself as professional wrestler. Mr. McMahon granted a WWE Championship match for Paul London with WWE Champion Brock Lesnar at WWE Smackdown edition on October 9, 2003. Paul London and then WWE Champion Brock Lesnar appeared in this wrestling edition to face each other in a WWE Championship match. WWE Champion Brock Lesnar took microphone and invited Paul London into wrestling ring to collect his WWE Championship title belt. Brock Lensar said, he does give permission to anyone to touch his title belt but he is going an opportunity for Paul London to touch his title belt.

Paul London touched his title belt and attacked by the Brock Lesnar to start this wrestling match officially. Brock Lesnar destroyed Paul London with his powerful wrestling performance and then defeated Paul London through pin fall after giving F5. Brock Lesnar successfully retained his WWE Championship in this wrestling edition and celebrated his victory with wrestling fans. Brock Lesnar threw Paul London to outside of the wrestling ring. Another Wrestling superstar came and attacked Brock Lesnar. His name is The Brian Kendrick. However, Brock Lesnar destroyed The Brian Kendrick. The Undertaker came with a microphone. The Undertaker openly announced, their WWE Championship match will be Biker Chain Match at No Mercy 2003.
