ECW original Sandman faced Carlito in a special Singapore Cane on a Pole match on July 22, 2007 at The Great American Bash 2007. Sandman received excellent response from wrestling fans in this pay per view. Similarly, Carlito also received but Carlito insulted this ECW legend Sandman by spitting apple over Sandman. Carlito tried to collect Singapore Cane but Sandman did not give chance to collect the Singapore Cane. Similarly, Sandman tried to collect his Singapore Cane but Carlito did not give chance to Sandman at this time.

Carlito several times tried to collect Singapore Cane and Sandman also hardly opposed Carlito to avoid collecting Singapore Cane. Carlito made a mistake by jumping over Sandman but Sandman escaped intelligently. Sandman used this advantage and collected Singapore Cane. Sandman decided to destroy Carlito with Singapore Cane but Carlito surprised Sandman by giving a backstabber. Carlito defeated Sandman through pin fall surprisingly. Sandman never expected a day like this and Carlito noted a memorable victory over a legend in this pay per view.
