After four years, WWE Smackdown general manager brought back King of the ring concept and arranged King of the ring ring qualifying matches in Smackdown editions. Booker T and Bobby Lashley qualified to King of The Ring. World Wrestling Entertainment arranged King of The Ring finals match at Judgment Day 2006.
Booker T
Booker T defeated Matt Hardy in first round of King of the ring qualifying match.
Unfortunately, Kurt Angle was failed to face Booker T due to lack of fitness. Booker T directly entered into King of the ring finals.
The big red machine Kane met The Great Khali in a Singapore Cane match at Breaking Point 2009 pay per view. The big red machine Kane tried to give good starting to this match with his domination. However, Kane dominated by The Great Khali. Kane tried to destroy The Great Khali with Singapore Cane but The Great Khali blocked his Singapore Cane shots with one Singapore Cane. Kane damaged knee of The Great Khali and then Singapore Cane shots repeatedly. Later, Kane drop kicked The great khali.
Ranjin Singh carefully observed their wrestling performance by standing at outside of the ring. The Great Khali blocked Kane’s Singapore Cane shots and then destroyed Kane with repeated Singapore Cane shots. However, Kane did not wish to lose this wrestling match. Kane goes top rope and gave a powerful Singapore Cane shot. Ranjin Singh attacked Kane with Singapore Cane shots. However, Kane chock slammed The Great Khali and defeated The Great Khali. Ranjin Singh checked health condition of The great khali. Kane returned to backstage happily.
The gold standard Shelton Benjamin appeared with his friend and tag team partner Charlie Haas at Judgment Day 2009 to face John Morrison. Charlie Haas instructed Shelton Benjamin to give good starting to this wrestling match. Shelton Benjamin gave good starting to this wrestling match. However, John Morrison well handled Shelton Benjamin and also surprised him with risky move. John Morrison made a mistake by going to top rope and Shelton Benjamin seriously injured John Morrison with super kick. Charlie Haas threw John Morrison into ring to help his tag team partner.
Shelton Benjamin continued his domination even though John Morrison tried to control Shelton benjamin. Charlie Haas encouraged Shelton benjamin by standing at outside of the ring. John Morrison later recovered from injuries and tried to defeat Shelton Benjamin. John Morrison connected his knee to Shelton Benjamin but Shelton Benjamin did not wish to lose this match. John Morrison attacked Charlie Haas when Charlie Haas tried to attack him. Shelton Benjamin received a springboard superkick from John Morrison. John Morrison successfully defeated Shelton Benjamin through pin fall.
The All American American Jack Swagger met ECW Champion Christian at Judgment Day 2009. Jack Swagger well concentrated on Christian and successfully handled Christian with his powerful power game. Jack Swagger continued his domination and seriously injured him with same power game plan. However, Christian surprised Jack Swagger by eliminating to outside of the ring and injured with high fly move but Jack Swagger quickly recovered from injuries and surprised ECW Champion Christian with his domination again.
In this match, Jack Swagger damaged stomach area of Christian by throwing over steel ring pole. Jack Swagger continued his domination as well as destruction. However, ECW Champion tried to use every mistake of Jack Swagger. Similarly, Christian continued his intelligent game but Jack Swagger destroyed Christian with Superplex. Jack Swagger tried to defeat Christian with cheap pin fall but match referee rejected his pin fall. Just like Jack Swagger, Christian used same cheap trick and defeated him through pin fall. Christian once again retained his ECW Championship in this pay per view.
WWE Champion Randy Orton appeared to face the animal Batista at Judgment Day 2009. Initially, WWE Champion Randy Orton was not interested to face Batista and simply went to outside of the ring. Batista gave good starting to this wrestling match with powerful dominating game. The Animal Batista was so frustrating in this match and damaged Randy Orton’s back very seriously. Batista worked on Randy Orton’s back. However, Randy Orton drop kicked and damaged back of Batista with security wall. Randy Orton tried to control Batista with continuous knee shots.
Randy Orton damaged back of Batista with back breaker. Similarly, Randy Orton also damaged arms and legs of Batista. The Animal Dave Batista once again comes into action with suplex. However, Randy Orton well handled Batista with drop kick. Both wrestling superstars performed very tough wrestling performance and wants to become WWE Champion. Batista surprised Randy Orton with powerful spear. Batista powerslammed Randy Orton. Randy Orton planed to count out to retain his title and Randy Orton tried to escape from Batista. Batista did not give chance and continued wrestling match. Batista gave a flying kick to Randy Orton from top rope.
Randy Orton collected his title and tried to return back but Batista destroyed Randy Orton with spinebuster. Randy Orton failed to give RKO but Batista made a mistake by hitting steel ring pole. Randy Orton slapped match referee and match referee disqualified Randy Orton. Later, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase attacked Batista. Suddenly, Nature Boy Ric Flair returned to WWE to save Batista. Ric Flair and Batista destroyed Legacy and Randy Orton. Ric Flair hugged Batista and raised his hand as winner but Randy Orton retained his WWE Championship.
WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio appeared at Judgment Day 2009 to face Chris Jericho to put his title on the line. Rey Mysterio received excellent response from wrestling fans and interacted with wrestling fans. Rey Mysterio tried to give 619 to Chris Jericho early but Chris Jericho went to outside. Later, Chris Jericho dominated Rey Mysterio with his performance. Rey Mysterio later controlled him but his back is damaged by the security wall. Rey Mysterio made a mistake by going to top rope and Chris Jericho threw him over steel ring pole.
Rey Mysterio set Chris Jericho to give 619 with enzugiri but Chris Jericho dropped his body. Similarly, Chris Jericho almost broke Rey Mysterio’s back. Chris Jericho tried to remove mask of Rey Mysterio. However, Rey Mysterio performed his amazing wrestling performance and dominated him.Similarly, Chris Jericho also controlled Rey Mysterio by applying sharpshooter but Rey Myserio survived himself from Sharpshooter. Rey Mysterio finally connected 619 to Chris Jericho and defeated Chris Jericho through pin fall to retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship.
Mr. Money In the Bank CM Punk appeared at Judgment Day 2009 to face Umaga in one on one wrestling match. CM Punk received excellent response because Chicago is his home town. Umaga looks very powerful in this match. CM Punk tried to dominate Umaga with his mixed martial arts performance and also played intelligent game in order to give good starting to this match. However, Umaga successfully handled CM Punk with his powerful game. Umaga damaged back and left shoulder of CM Punk. Similarly, Umaga damaged his shoulder with steel ring pole. Umaga continued his domination with his powerful performance. Umaga injured CM Punk by dropping his body twice but CM Punk kicked Umaga for his third drop.
CM Punk made a mistake by lifting Umaga but unable to handle his weight. CM Punk tried to control Umaga in several ways but Samoan Bulldozer dominated CM Punk. Umaga made a mistake by jumping from top rope to give a headbutt but CM Punk escaped intelligently. CM Punk took risk and injured Umaga but putting his body on the line. Umaga made a mistake by hitting ring pole and also hits back with one corner. CM Punk tried to give Go to Sleep but Umaga destroyed him with Samoan drop. Once again CM Punk tried Go to Sleep but Umaga seriously destroyed CM Punk and won this match with powerful game. Umaga felt very happy and returned to backstage.
John Cena met The Big Show in one on one wrestling match at Judgment Day 2009. The Big Show and then John Cena appeared in this wrestling event due to their personal problems for the last few months. The Big Show’s main objective is to close career of the John Cena. Similarly, John Cena also waits to take revenue over The Big Show. The Big Show looks very happy but John Cena was not. However, wrestling fans encouraged john cena to teach a lesson to The Big Show. The Big Show gave very powerful hand punches. John Cena tried to control The Big Show but failed due to his massive body.
John Cena’s tricks did not work in this match. The Big Show seriously damaged John Cena with steel ring pole. First time in Big Show’s career, he played very intelligent game. John Cena completely failed even though John Cena several times defeated The Big Show mainly due to The Big Show’s power game. The Big Show made a mistake by jumping over steel ring pole and John Cena tried to use this advantage with his wrestling performance but The Big Show destroyed John Cena. The Big Show made a mistake with splash but Big Show quickly dominated John Cena. However, John Cena defeated The Big Show again through pin fall.
World Wrestling Entertainment presented a feature match between Jeff hardy and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge for WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Judgment Day 2009. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge and #1 contender Jeff hardy appeared in this wrestling pay per view. Jeff hardy surprised WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge with his extreme wrestling performance and successfully dominated Edge in this one on one wrestling match. Rated R Superstar Edge was failed to control Jeff hardy for several minutes. However, Edge escaped from Jeff Hardy’s high jump.
Edge continued his dominated by injuring Jeff hardy with steel ring pole and spearing his back. Edge well damaged back of the Jeff hardy in order to protect his WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Later, Jeff Hardy surprised Edge with cross body and continued his performance. Jeff Hardy made a mistake by jumping from top rope because Edge escaped intelligently. These two wrestling superstars performed good wrestling performance. Jeff hardy applied sharpshooter but Edge saved himself by holding ring ropes.
Jeff hardy and Edge went to top rope and Jeff Hardy destroyed Edge with powerbomb. Jeff hardy later continued his wrestling performance. However, Edge took risk by spearing Jeff hardy very seriously. Edge frustrated with Jeff Hardy’s concentration. These two wrestling superstars strongly decided to win this prestigious wrestling match. Jeff hardy once again took risk to injure Edge. Suddenly, Matt Hardy attacked his own brother Jeff Hardy from behind. However, Jeff Hardy did not wish to lose this match. Later, Edge destroyed Jeff Hardy with superplex and retained his WWE World Heavyweight Championship successfully.
