At Monday night Raw on May 3, 2010 edition, Batista defeated Daniel Bryan in 5 min 6 seconds time.

Similarly, John Cena had a match with Chris Jericho but Chris Jericho does not want to wrestle WWE Champion John Cena in order to save his valuable time. However, Chris Jericho replaced himself with his NXT rookie Wade Barrett. However, Wade Barrett faced WWE Champion in a beat the clock challenge match. WWE Champion John Cena gave very powerful dominating starting by dominating Wade Barrett. WWE Champion decided to finish this wrestling match with FTSU but Chris Jericho diverted the concentration of John Cena.

Later, WWE Champion dropped Wade Barrett over Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho later diverted the concentration of WWE Champion again. NXT Rookie Wade Barrett utilized this advantage and well handled WWE Champion John Cena. However, John Cena defeated Wade Barrett through STF submission before 27 seconds in order to win the beat the clock challenge. WWE Champion John Cena celebrated his victory.
