By seeing their problems, World Wrestling Entertainment arranged a WWE united states championship match between Chavo Guerrero and WWE United States Champion Chris Benoit at Armageddon 2006.

Vickie Guerrero came to this match with broken neck to encourage the Chavo Guerrero. Chavo Guerrero attacked WWE United States Champion Chris Benoit with cheap shot, which means attacking his opponent from behind. He tried to control the Chris Benoit with his domination but failed. WWE US Champion well handled him with his extraordinary solid wrestling skills.

However, Chavo Guerrero hardly worked to win the title. Vickie Guerrero anxiously watches this wrestling match with tension in ringside. Chris Benoit destroyed his opponent with 8 German Suplexes. Vickie Guerrero tried to attack Chris Benoit with US title but Chris Benoit did not give chance to her and decided to punish her with sharpshooter. Chris Benoit defeated his opponent with sharpshooter to retain his WWE United States Championship and returned to backstage as successful US champion.
