World Wrestling Entertainment conducted a wrestling match John Morrison and Chris Jericho at WWE Smackdown on January 15, 2010. First time, John Morrison faced Y2J Chris Jericho challenged in this Smackdown event. Actually, Chris Jericho was seriously injured by his own tag team partner Mike Tyson on last Monday night Raw. On same area, John Morrison punched when Chris Jericho injured him.

John Morrison eliminated him to outside of the ring and decided to jump from top rope. Suddenly, WWE Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre came to divert the concentration of Chris Jericho. He sat outside of the ring. However, the former Intercontinental Champion John Morrison well handled the former Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho with his excellent wrestling skills.

Chris Jericho actually waits for this chance to control John Morrison and threw him outside of the ring. He later well handled John Morrison with his excellent wrestling performance and applied Sharpshooter but no use. However, Chris Jericho surprised John Morrison with Codebreaker to defeat him through pin fall. After this match, Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre mocked John Morrison.
