CM Punk finally achieved his dream once again by defeating John Morrison to become new ECW Champion in previous ECW edition. ECW Champion expected some competition for this wrestling pay per view. Elijah Burke earned opportunity by impressing the ECW management and reserved a wrestling match with Champion at Unforgiven 2007.

CM Punk and then Elijah Burke gave excellent starting to this ECW Championship match. Elijah Burke well dominated the champion by showing his performance. However, the champion did not want to lose his title to continue his success strike. In few moments, CM Punk showed his ability by damaging his challenger with his mixed martial arts skills.
