At Elimination Chamber 2010 pay per view, Rey Mysterio destroyed CM Punk’s life time dream by eliminating the straight edge savior from Smackdown elimination chamber match. Similarly, Rey Mysterio destroyed another life time dream of CM Punk by involving in CM Punk’s money in the bank qualifying match on February 26, 2010 at Friday night Smackdown edition. The straightedge society founder seriously reacted and upset Rey Mysterio by involving in Rey Mysterio’s daughter 9^th Birthday celebration.

Rey Mysterio seriously reacted by considering CM Punk’s humiliation in front of his family members and challenged CM Punk a match at WrestleMania XXVI to give a memorable gift to her daughter. Initially, CM Punk did not accept challenge but Rey Mysterio earned opportunity to face CM Punk at WrestleMania by defeating Luke Gallows on March 5, 2010 at Friday night Smackdown edition.  The high flying superstar Rey Mysterio defeated CM Punk at WrestleMania 26.

At this time, CM Punk was upset and challenged Rey Mysterio a match at Extreme Rules 2010 main event. Rey Mysterio did not show much interest by later showed interest when CM Punk puts his hair on the line. Finally, CM Punk faced Mr. 619 in this wrestling match by putting his hair on the line.
