Beth Phoenix Vs Tamina Snuka for Divas Championship at Elimination Chamber 2012
Tamina Snuka successfully defeated Beth Phoenix’s best friend Natalya multiple times, finally entered into Divas Champion Beth Phoenix’s way on February 10, 2012 and WWE granted a WWE Divas Championship title shot to Tamina Snuka at Elimination Chamber 2012 pay per view. On February 17, 2012, Tamina Snuka teamed up with Alicia Fox and defeated Natalya and Divas Champion Beth Phoenix in a divas tag team match. On same night, Tamina Snuka surprised Beth Phoenix with a superkick to face when Phoenix plans to attack Tamina Snuka but Tamina smashed her plan, decided to perform diving splash from top rope but in last moment Phoenix escaped from it.
The Glamazon stretched top and middle rope to allow Tamina Snuka to quit from this match. Tamina Snuka did not, slapped on stomach, punched at kidney, double arm chop on spine, knife edge chop to chest, kicked to face but Beth received side kick, got injured by connecting headbutt to Tamina but Snuka gave a powerful headbutt, dragged her to a corner, tried to go to op top rope but attacked by Beth Phoenix and she was fallen to outside of the ring. Divas Champion went to outside of the ring, kicked at kidney area, hits head to concrete floor, repeated punches to face but responded to match referee’s ten numbers count.
Divas Champion dropped elbow on injured spine, several elbows to same area, applied side headlock, received some elbows to midsection, hits head to ground, kicked on back twice, applied neck lock punishingly but Tamina broke it with some punches, then European uppercut and perfectly delivered Samoan drop to champion but attacked by Phoenix at top rope. Divas Champion performed superplex from middle rope which further injured spine of her competitor. She kicked at kidney but divas exchanged hard punches but Tamina Snuka dominated her with hard chops, then clothesline, back elbow, body avalanche at a corner, a powerful superkick to face, dragged her to top rope and performed diving splash but Beth Phoenix did not want to lose it.
Snuka decided to perform it once again but Beth went to outside where Snuka attacked Phoenix, brought her to ring but Phoenix hits shoulder to a corner, performed Glamslam and pinned Tamina to retain her Divas Championship successfully.
