Smackdown Elimination Chamber 2012 for WWE World Heavyweight Championship

On February 3, 2012 Friday night Smackdown, the Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long announced the list of elimination chamber match participants for WWE World Heavyweight Championship title for Elimination Chamber 2012 pay per view.

4. Randy Orton
5. Wade Barrett
6. Cody Rhodes

However, on same night mark Henry interrupted announcement of GM, demanded Theodore Long to exclude him from elimination chamber match but demanded him to book a world title match but Theodore Long does not want to do it because of his failure in triple threat steel cage match at Royal Rumble 2012 pay per view but Henry crossed his line by putting hands on General manager disrespectfully. Teddy Long seriously considered it, officially removed Mark Henry from Smackdown elimination chamber and even suspended him officially. On same night Great Khali attacked Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes to save Justin Gabriel. Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long replaced Mark Henry with The Great Khali and the list becomes as given below.

Similarly, on same night Orton defeated Wade Barrett in a No Disqualification match but WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan came out during his celebration and surprised Orton by starting celebrating.

On February 17, 2012 Smackdown edition, Theodore Long sent Randy Orton to home with security officials because of medical reasons and even excluded him from Smackdown elimination chamber. Later, Big Show teamed up with Great Khali to beat Wade Barrett and Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes but surprised his fellow elimination chamber participant Great Khali with knockout punch after that match, demanded GM to face Daniel Bryan, knocked Mark Henry out by seriously considering his interference, after that smashed GM’s office and GM sent Big Show to home with security officials and conducted a wild card battle royal and his assistant Santino Marella captured Randy Orton’s place by winning the wild card battle royal.

Giant threw Barrett aside, open arm chop on chest, punched to midsection, another open arm chop on chest, received some kicks to knee but controlled him with shoulder block. He gave a headbutt, punched into stomach twice at a corner, received a step up kick to midsection and then Barrett attacked left knee of largest superstar. Wade kicked to face thrice, then kicked to kidney, another kick to shoulder, face, hits head to steel chain wall multiple times, repeated kicks to roll Show into ring, increased pressure by standing on throat, tried to drag but the giant pushed him powerfully with legs but Barrett kicks on knee further to damage it.

He further worked on it, even tried to break it but powerfully pushed by Giant. However, it was injured elbow of jackal. The largest pro wrestler performed belly to belly back suplex, presented a powerful headbutt, open arm chop on chest, threw him on steel floor which severely injured back. Show walks on Jackal, rolled him to ring and in few moments Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes was released from his chamber.

Intercontinental Champion attacked Big Show with forearm on chest but received headbutt. The toughest individual surprised him with an open arm chop on chest at a corner, looked at Daniel Bryan seriously but Bryan kicked on knee, punched to face as well as kicks to midsection but the giant threw Rhodes on steel floor which injured lower back of Rhodes. After that The Pinnacle attacked Big Show but Show hits him to steel chain wall which injured the head. Later Big Show delivered forearm on chest, performed body avalanche but Rhodes escaped from it intelligently. However, he threw Cody on steel chain powerfully.

Largest athlete punched into abs area of Wade at a corner but pinnacle escaped from chokeslam, attacked left knee from behind, further worked on it to further damage it, tried to break it but Giant dropped another leg on face to save his knee but later Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett attacked Big Show with knee attack and clothesline at a time in position ways. WWE Intercontinental Champion kicked on chest repeatedly but Wade sent Rhodes to steel floor with a clothesline. Wade injured Cody with chamber walls repeatedly, smashed his plan by hitting head of Cody to one of chambers. He injured spine with a ring post but Cody attacked him with a shoulder block, combination of punches and kicks.

Santino Marella was released from room, repeated punches to Barrett’s face, hip toss, performed salute flying headbutt, imitated wrestling legend Ultimate Warrior but caught to Giant. Big Show punched into midsection, open arm chop to chest, tossed Santino aside but Intercontinental Champion attacked knee of Show from behind, further injured it by kicking on it, kick to face, arm, and midsection and even punished Marella by putting his leg on throat. However the world’s largest athlete delivered an open arm chop to chest of Intercontinental Champion, then punched into midsection of pinnacle, threw IC champion as well as Barrett on steel floor.

However, they refused double chokeslam, kicked on both knees and successfully performed double belly to belly back suplex on steel floor. The Dashing one punched Santino, mocked Khali, kicks on chest, injured right hand with steel wall and the other side Barrett performed moonsault but Big show refused to lose it. Later, the Great Khali was released from his chamber, attacked Barrett with a Brian Chop, controlled Rhodes with clotheslines, big boot to Barrett, khali bomb to Cody and Barrett, brian chop to Marella but the big show escaped from Khali and speared Khali and pinned The Great Khali, later looked at WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan.

Big Show tried to reach Bryan from top of the chamber but Bryan stood on his knees. The Big Show rips steel chain, entered into Bryan’s chamber from top of the chamber, repeated punches to face, headbutts punishingly and finally Bryan got released officially from chamber. Bryan threw him powerfully on another chamber, tossed him to ring, headbutt to Barrett, shoulder blocks, reverse body avalanche and chokeslammed but received big boot from Barrett. Barrett delivered several knee kicks to face; also a big boot to face but attacked Marella powerful clothesline and Rhodes connected a beautiful disaster to Big Show twice.

Dashing one performed snap DDT, Barrett dropped diving elbow and Rhodes pinned Big Show. In few moments Santino Marella pinned Cody Rhodes. Rhodes seriously considered it, kicked at midsection and performed cross Rhodes and WWE officials involved in it and sent Cody Rhodes out from elimination chamber. Wade Barrett threw him on steel floor, hits him with chamber walls, repeated kicks to midsection, step up knee to face, big boot to face and brawl with Daniel Bryan but pinnacle controlled champion with repeated kicks to midsection. They tried to control each other for some time. Bryan connected roundhouse kicks to chest but Barrett dropped champion on top rope and then attacked him with clothesline.

Jackal threw Bryan on chamber wall, hits head to bullet proof door, injured head with door, later punched to Marella, forearm to neck and then connected big boot to face of Santino. Barrett injured spine with elbows but Bryan connected high knee to face, hits head to chamber doors but attacked by Barrett at top rope. Barrett hits head to bullet proof glass but Marella attacked Barrett. Santino was unable to perform superplex but escaped from Barrett’s diving move but Daniel Bryan surprised Barrett with a diving headbutt and Marella pinned Wade Barrett successfully.

Daniel Bryan looked at Santino Marella with smiling face. Santino got power from sky, blocked Bryan’s punch, reversed him but dropkicked by World Heavyweight Champion at a corner. The American Dolphin connected roundhouse kicks to spine as well as chest but Marella tried to fight but later escaped from Bryan. However, the American dragon performed a quick belly to belly back suplex but Santino Marella escaped from diving headbutt, surprised his competitor with cobra but champion did not want to lose it. After that Daniel Bryan applied LeBell submission and taped out to retain his WWE World Heavyweight Championship title.
