Previously, Mike Knox seriously injured evan bourne including when his leg was injured. However Evan Bourne finally got a chance to take revenge against Mike Knox.

Mike Knox and Evan Bourne would like to become one of the #1 contenders by winning this ecw homecoming qualifying match. The person, who would like to become most dominating monster on Raw, dominated the Evan Bourne with his dominating wrestling performance but eliminated to outside of the ring by Evan Bourne.

Evan Bourne tried to control his opponent with his high flying skills but Mike Knox did not much chance to him. However, Evan Bourne mesmerized entire wrestling world with his high flying moonsault and defeated them through pin fall. Evan Bourne qualified and enjoyed his victory with wrestling fans.
