On April 7, 2009 in ECW edition, Evan Bourne teamed up with WWE Unified tag team champions Carlito and Primo to face John Morrison, The Miz and Tyson Kidd in a six man tag team match. Evan Bourne defeated Tyson Kidd to win this six man tag team match.

On April 13, 2009 in Raw edition, Evan Bourne faced WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio but defeated by Rey Mysterio.

As per Shaquille O’Neal order, Evan Bourne faced Jack Swagger in a Beat the Clock Challenge match. Evan Bourne gave real toughness to Jack Swagger. Evan Bourne surprised Jack Swagger by defeating Jack Swagger. Jack Swagger’s #1 contender dream is destroyed by the Evan Bourne.

Evan Bourne faced Jack Swagger in a one on one match in this weekly edition. Evan Bourne performed good performance but Jack Swagger seriously destroyed Evan Bourner without mercy by seriously considering his last week’s victory. However, Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) saved Evan Bourne from Jack Swagger.

On September 3, 2009 in WWE Superstars, Evan Bourne faced Chris Masters. Evan Bourne’s back is almost broken by the Chris Masters in this match but Evan Bourne defeated Chris Masters surprisingly. As per WWE Raw Guest Host Bob Barker arrangement, Evan Bourne faced Chavo Guerrero in one on one match. Evan Bourne hardly controlled Chavo Guerrero and defeted Chavo Guerero with Hornswoggle’s indrect help. Due to Evan Bourne’s victory, Chavo Guerrrero lost a golden opportunity to win a brand new Car at Raw edition on September 7, 2009.

On September 21, 2009 in Raw edition, Evan Bourne faced The Miz but defeated by The Miz.

On October 8, 2009 at Superstars edition, Evan Bourne faced Ted DiBiase but lost this match.
