As we already know, Rey Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler in an Intercontinental Championship match at Night of Champions 2009. Similarly, Rey Mysterio and Finlay teamed up and defeated Mike Knox and Dolph Ziggler in a tag team match at WWE Smackdown on July 31, 2009. World Wrestling Entertainment included one more best professional wrestling superstar R-Truth in this match to filter out a #1 contender of WWE Intercontinental championship. These four wrestling superstars anxiously wait for ring bell to face each other in this fatal four way match. Finlay faced Dolph Ziggler and R-Truth faced Mike Knox. Finlay and R-Truth gave powerful hand shots to Dolph Ziggler and Mike Knox respectively. Dolph Ziggler seriously considered and reversed situation by giving hand punches to Finlay at one corner of the wrestling ring. R-Truth reversed Mike Knox but Mike Knox controlled his strength and reversed him. However, Mike Knox received a super kick from R-Truth but Mike Knox jumped over Dolph Ziggler because R-Truth escaped from his cross body which is received by Dolph Ziggler.

Mike Knox submitted pin fall by covering Dolph Ziggler but R-Truth interrupted his pin fall in order to save this fatal four wrestling match. Finlay surprised R-Truth by submitted pin fall but R-Truth rejected pin fall. Later, Mike Knox surprised R-Truth as well as Finlay with double close line. Mike Knox kicked R-Truth. Mike Knox destroyed R-Truth with powreful close line at one corner of the wrestling ring. Similarly, Mike Knox also tried to control Finlay at opposite corner of the wrestling ring but Finlay gave two boot shots to Mike Knox. In few moments, Finlay also surprised Mike Knox with powerful close line. Finlay dropped his entire body weight over Mike Knox by jumping on Mike Knox. Dolph Ziggler entered into wrestling ring and drop kicked Finlay. Finlay went to outside of the wrestling ring due to the force of drop kick. R-Truth gave a drop kick to Dolph Ziggler. Mike Knox tried to attack R-Truth but R-Truth eliminated Mike Knox to outside of the wrestling ring.

R-Truth surprised Mike Knox by jumping from wrestling ring over top rope. Finlay reentered into wrestling ring and gave an european uppercut to Dolph Ziggler. Finlay controlled Dolph Ziggler with powerful close line. Finlay once again gave an European uppercut to Dolph Ziggler. Finlay damaged neck of the Dolph Ziggler with neck breaker. Finlay covered Dolph Ziggler in order to submit pin fall but Mike Knox rejected his pin fall in order to save this fatal four wrestling match. Mike Knox tried to injure Finlay but Finlay escaped and then kicked into his stomach. Finlay lifted Mike Knox but Mike Knox escaped. Mike Knox surprised Finlay with powerful close line. In this mean time, R-Truth goes top rope and gave a cross body to Mike Knox. R-Truth covered Mike Knox and submitted pin fall but Dolph Ziggler interrupted pin fall. Dolph Ziggler continuously kicked R-Truth. Dolph Ziggler holds R-Truth’neck with right hand and Finlay’s neck with left hand to give double DDT at a time.

Dolph Ziggler covered R-Truth and submitted pin fall but R-Truth rejected his pin fall. Similarly, R-Truth submitted pin fall by covering Finlay but Mike Knox kicked Dolph Ziggler and Dolph Ziggler’s back seriously injured. Dolph Ziggler and Mike Knox looked at each other. Mike Knox and Dolph Ziggler gave powerful hand punches to each other. Dolph Ziggler applied head lock to Mike Knox. Mike Knox reversed Dolph Ziggler and injured him with close line. Dolph Ziggler went to outside of the wrestling ring. R-Truth instructed Finlay to send Mike Knox to outside of the wrestling ring but Finlay surprise R-Truth by giving close line. Later, Finlay covered R-Truth to submit pin fall but Mike Knox interrupted this pin fall. Finlay seriously considered and gave a powerful drop kick to Mike Knox. Finlay covered Mike Knox and submitted pin fall but Dolph Ziggler interrupted his pin fall. Dolp Ziggler kicked into Finlay’s stomach. Dolph Ziggler gives continuous hand punches to Finlay and kicked into his stomach area at one corner of the wrestling ring.

Dolph Ziggler reversed Finlay from same corner to opposite corner but Finlay controlled his powerful and reversed situation. Finlay damaged Dolph Ziggler’s stomach area with powerful shoulder block. Finlay lifted Dolph Ziggler but received a big boot shot from Mike Knox. Later, R-Truth surprised Mike Knox with close line. R-Truth covered Mike Knox and submitted pin fall but Dolph Ziggler interrupted the pin fall. Dolph Ziggler kicked and gave a hand shot to R-Truth. However, R-Truth gave a hard punch and kicked into his stomach. In few moments, Mike Knox lifted R-Truth to send him to outside of the wrestling ring. Mike Knox is destroyed by the Finlay. However, Dolph Ziggler surprised Finlay with Zig Zag. Dolph Ziggler quickly covered Finlay and submitted pin fall and defeated Finlay. Dolph Ziggler became new #1 contender of the WWE Intercontinental Championship and reversed a wrestling match with Rey Mysterio at SummmerSlam 2009 for WWE Intercontinental Championship. Dolph Ziggler tried to kick Rey Mysterio but Finlay pulled Dolph Zigger’s hair. Later, WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio jumped over Dolph Ziggler.
