Legacy member Cody Rhodes appeared at Raw edition on September 7, 2009 to face John Cena. As we already know, WWE Champion Randy Orton and Legacy Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, Jr destroyed John Cena as well as D Generation X in last week wrestling edition with Dusty Rhodes’ indirect game plan. John Cena actually appointed as special guest referee for that WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. Cody Rhodes does not give much importance to his father Dusty Rhodes. Cody Rhodes supported Randy Orton who destroyed his father with RKO. Finally, John Cena faced Cody Rhodes in this Raw edition.

Cody Rhodes tried to give good starting to this wrestling match but John Cena surprised Cody Rhodes by dropping his body. John Cena continued his dominating wrestling performance with Cody Rhodes. However, Cody Rhodes also well handled John Cena by using every John Cena’s mistake. Cody Rhodes decided to damage knees of John Cena with finger four leg lock but John Cena blocked him and applied STFU. Suddenly, WWE Champion Randy Orton entered into wrestling ring but John Cena tried to apply STFU to Randy Orton. However, Randy Orton escaped intelligently. Match referee disqualified Cody Rhodes due to Randy Orton’s interruption. Later, John Cena destroyed Cody Rhodes to send a message to Randy Orton.
