According to the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)’s official announcement, the raising young superstar John Morrison is going to face WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy at WWE Smackdown edition on July 31, 2009. WWE Commentators Todd Grisham and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross officially announced WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at the starting of WWE Superstars weekly event on July 30, 2009. John Morrison finally got great opportunity to become WWE World heavyweight champion tonight. As we already know, Jeff Hardy became new WWE World Heavyweight Champion by defeating CM Punk at WWE’s yearly pay per view Night of Champions 2009.

As we already know that John Morrison defeated former WWE World Heavyweight Champion twice. In other words, John Morrison defeated CM Punk at WWE Smackdown edition on June 26, 2009. Similarly, John Morrison once again time defeated CM Punk at WWE Smackdown edition on July 17, 2009. So, John Morrison could became WWE World Heavyweight Champion twice in both wrestling matches if World Wrestling Entertainment conducted these two wrestling matches as title matches. However, World Wrestling Entertainment finally granted a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match to John Morrison. I think this wrestling match could be one of the memorable matches in wrestling history.
