Jack Swagger faced WWE United States Champion Kofi Kingston at WWE Raw edition on September 21, 2009 for WWE United States Championship. Jack Swagger gave good starting to this wrestling match by dominating Kofi Kingston with his power game. Later, Kofi Kingston gave knife edge chops. Jack Swagger lifted Kofi Kingston over top rope.

Kofi Kingston tried to control Jack Swagger but received a boot shot. The Miz came and once again tried to stole WWE United States Champion title belt. However, Jack Swagger attacked The Miz from behind and collected WWE United States Champion title belt and returned to backstage. The Miz and WWE United States Champion Kofi Kingston shocked. World Wrestling Entertainment stopped this wrestling match without result due to Jack Swagger.
