As per WWE Raw brand General Manager Vickie Guerrero‘s arrangement, the animal Batista faced Legacy members Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes at WWE Raw on May 11, 2009. Batista and Ted DiBiase started this wrestling match officially. Batista seriously damaged back of the Ted Dibiase very seriously with his power game. However, Cody Rhodes joined with Batista officially by receiving tag from Ted Dibiase. Batista also destroyed Cody Rhodes with his powerful game.

However, Cody Rhodes surprised Batista by damaging his knee. Similarly, Ted DiBiase also worked on Batista’s knee. Cody Rhodes joined in knee destruction. Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase both injured Batista’s knee very seriously but Batista recovered from injuries and attacked challengers. Batista continued his domination. Cody Rhodes threw a steel chair into ring and Batista took that steel chair. Match referee disqualified Batista without seeing Scenario. As per match stipulation, Batista has to face WWE Champion Randy Orton and Legacy in this event.
