Luke Gallows shared his personal opinion positvely about the straight edge life style on January 15, 2010 Smackdown as per CM Punk’s request. He later brought one wrestling fan, whose name is Trevor to join him in Straight Edge Society. Later, He and CM Punk won fatal four way #1 contender’s match to become new #1 contenders for Unified tag team championship and celebrated their victory with new member Trevor.

On January 29, 2010 at Smackdown, he attended to this event with his savior CM Punk and his newest societymate Serena to face DX in a unified tag team championship match but insulted by the game triple h. He was surprised when theodore long cancels their match with DX.

On February 23, 2010, he attended to first ever NXT edition and met his savior’s rookie Darren Young but discouraged with CM Punk’s rookie failure against David Otunga.

At extreme rules main event on April 25, Luke Gallows involved in CM Punk’s hair match to divert the concentration of high flying superstar Rey Mysterio but sends by the match referee to backstage. However, he later enjoyed CM Punk’s victory against Rey Mysterio with his savior.
