However, WWE Raw Guest Host Bob Barker arranged a wrestling match for Chris Jericho and introduced his opponent Montel Vontavious Porter at Raw on September 7, 2009. MVP and Chris Jericho gave good starting to this one on one wrestling match by considering their personal problems. Both wrestling superstars consider this wrestling match as prestigious wrestling match. Chris Jericho made a mistake to give a shot to MVP with springboard shot but he injured himself by falling on ground from top of the ring.

However, Chris Jericho played excellent game and dominated Montel Vontavious Porter. Chris Jericho wrestled with Montel Vontavious Porter with frustration and used to argue with match referee. Once again, MVP and Chris Jericho continued their best performance. Chris Jericho decided to finish this wrestling match with sharpshooter but MVP released from sharpshooter pain intelligently. Chris Jericho got a chance to finish MVP with codebreaker but MVP defeated Chris Jericho through pin fall by playing smart game.
