As we already know, Triple H defeated Mankind due to special guest referee Shane McMahon’s improper action in #1 contender’s match in this Monday night Raw is War on January 4, 1999. Triple H reserved a championship match at Royal Rumble 1999. However, Mankind punished Shane McMahon and forced him to arrange a no disqualification match against The Rock in this Monday night Raw is War event.

Due to lack of alternative way, Shane McMahon granted a no disqualification match. Mankind took D Generation X members Triple H, Chyna, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg and X-Pac’s help. Similarly, the corporation members Test, Big Boss Man, Shane McMahon, Vince McMahon and Kane came to support the rock. Finally, World Wrestling Federation Champion The Rock has attacked Mankind in order to start this match officially. The Rock ordered corporation not to attack Mankind.

Both wrestling superstars seriously injured each other by forgetting their world.  The Rock seriously damaged back of Mankind with steel steps. The Rock destroyed Mankind by giving rock bottom on announcement table. The Rock injured Mankind with title belt. However, mankind did not want to lose this match. Ken Shamrock attacked Mankind with steel chair shot but attacked by Billy Gunn. Later, D Generation X and The Corporation involved in a group war.

Stone Cold Steve Austin came and attacked The Rock with steel chair shot. Mankind successfully defeated the rock through pin fall. The new World Wrestling Federation heavyweight champion Mankind celebrated his victory with wrestling fans and D Generation X.
