On May 7 in Smackdown edition, Matt hardy talked about Drew McIntyre’s actions but seriously attacked by the Intercontinental Champion several times though WWE officials try to save him. Theodore Long fired Drew McIntyre from Smackdown and then helped Matt hardy to send him for immediate medical treatment.
2002
He faced dead man the undertaker in falls count anywhere and defeated dead man with brock lesnar’s help on October 3, 2002 Smackdown.

On October 29, 2003 at No Mercy, Matt Hardy V1.0 faced Zach Gowen but unable to win this match even though Shannon Moore helped Matt Hardy.
2007
On July 22, 2007 at The Great American Bash 2007, Matt Hardy faced MVP in an WWE United States Championship match. Unfortunately, Matt hardy lost this wrestling match to MVP.
WWE Tag Team Champion
On October 12, 2007 in Smackdown, WWE tag team champion Matt hardy team and his tag team partner MVP faced Brothers of Destruction Kane and The Undertaker in a tag team match. Matt Hardy well supported WWE United States Champion MVP but lost to Brothers of Destruction.
2009
On January 23, 2009 in Smackdown edition, Matt Hardy faced #1 contender Edge in a no disqualification match but destroyed Mark Henry and ECW Champion Jack Swagger. Matt Hardy defeated by Edge.
On January 25, 2009 at Royal Rumble, Matt hardy attacked his brother Jeff hardy with steel chair in a no disqualification WWE Championship match.
On February 27, 2009 in Smackdown, Matt hardy interested to face his brother Jeff Hardy in Brother Vs Brother match but Jeff hardy does not show interest to face his brother matt hardy.
On March 6, 2009 in Smackdown edition, Matt hardy said to wrestling fans Jeff hardy does not want a wrestling match with me. However, he is going to put his hand on Jeff Hardy at Money In The Bank Ladder match by defeating his opponent MVP in Money In The Bank qualifying match. However, Matt Hardy defeated by Montel Vontavious Porter. Similarly, Matt Hardy attacked Shelton Benjamin to disqualify his brother Jeff hardy form Money In The Bank qualifying match on same night.
On April 5, 2009 at WrestleMania, Matt Hardy faced his own and younger brother Jeff hardy in an extreme rules wrestling match and defeated his brother Jeff hardy.
Matt Hardy drafted to WWE Raw edition on April 13, 2009. Later, Matt hardy faced Mr. Money In The Bank CM Punk. Jeff hardy came and attacked Matt hardy but Matt hardy defeated CM Punk due to disqualification. Later, Matt hardy ran to backstage to escape from his brother.
On April 24, 2009 in Smackdown edition, Matt hardy teamed up with Jeff hardy to face Mr. Money In The Bank CM Punk and Kane in a tag team match and defeated Jeff hardy to win this tag team match.
Matt Hardy attended this wrestling edition and said, he is unable to wrestle with Kofi Kingston because his hand is damaged by his brother Jeff hardy. Matt Hardy is reported to World Wrestling Entertainment’s higher authority but they forced him to wrestle in this wrestling event. Matt Hardy hardly tried to control Kofi Kingston but lost this wrestling match to Kofi Kingston. After this wrestling match, Matt hardy attacked Kofi Kingston due to frustration.
On May 17, 2009 at Judgment Day, Matt hardy attacked his own brother Jeff hardy from behind in Jeff hardy’s World Heavyweight Championship match with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge.
On August 28, 2009 at Smackdown, Matt hardy teamed up with John Morrison to face The Hart Dynasty founders Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith. Natalya diverted Matt Hardy’s concentration but John Morrison and Matt Hardy won this wrestling match by defeating The Hart Dynasty.
On September 24, 2009 in Supersars, Matt hardy defeated Kane due to Kane’s disqualification.
Matt hardy teamed up with R Truth to face Kane and Drew McIntyre in a tag team match but lost in Smackdown on October 9, 2009.
He interviewed by Josh Mathews before his match with batista at backstage on November 6, 2009 smackdown. Actually, Matt Hardy did not want to see Batista in his position. In other words, he worked against his brother jeff hardy previously. Now, Batista is doing same mistake. However, he decided to face Batista by seriously considering his action and seriously destroyed by animal, defefeated dave by disqualification.
He faced David Hart Smith on November 12, 2009 superstars but faecd some difficulties from Tyson Kidd but successfully won this wrestling match.
