Beth Phoenix attended to WWE Raw edition on February 16, 2009 with her boy friend Santino Marella and Rosa Mendes to face WWE Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix. Beth Phoenix lifted Melina and damaged her back by hitting to one corner. Similarly, Beth Phoenix further damaged back of WWE Women’s champion Melina with slam. However, Melina tried to control Beth Phoenix but Beth Phoenix dominated Melina with her power game.

Santino Marella and Rosa Mendes encouraged Beth Phoenix. Beth Phoenix well handled WWE Women’s Champion Melina. Beth Phoenix once again damaged back of Melina with back suplex. Beth Phoenix increased pressure on neck of Melina. Melina later exploded and gave hand punches and left shot but Beth Phoenix damaged back with back breaker.

Beth Phoenix eliminated Melina to outside. Rosa Mendes attacked WWE Women’s Champion Melina. WWE Divas Kelly Kelly, Candice Michelle and Mickie James came and attacked Santino Marella and Rosa Mendes. Melina used this advantage and successfully defeated Beth Phoenix to retain her WWE Women’s Championship and celebrated her victory with divas and wrestling fans.
