Since Mickie James first arrival to Smackdown, WWE Smackdown brand divas Layla and WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool combined and teased Mickie James in several ways. Similarly, they also insulted Mickie James by calling her as Piggie James. For the last couple weeks, this is the common story in every Smackdown edition. Mickie James actually waited for a chance to take retribution.

However, Mickie James got a chance to teach a lesson to Women’s Champion Michelle McCool by winning the triple threat #1 contender’s match and finally faced Women’s champion at WWE’s brand new pay per view Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2009. Layla involved in this wrestling match but received a boot shot from her friend Michelle McCool accidentally.

Similarly, Michelle McCool gave a boot shot to Mickie James and successfully defeated her through pin fall to retain her WWE Women’s Championship. After this match, Mickie James and Layla celebrated their victory with wrestling fans and returned to backstage happily.
