World Wrestling Entertainment conducted a diva match between two former WWE Women’s Champions Mickie James and Beth Phoenix at WWE Smackdown on January 1, 2010 to entertain wrestling fans. Actually, Mickie James defeated Beth Phoenix in divas match on December 25, 2009 at WWE Smackdown.

Beth Phoenix finally faced Mickie James by seriously considering her opponent’s past victory. Layla and current WWE Women’s champion Michelle McCool attended to this wrestling match and watched this one on one diva match by sitting outside. Mickie James gave excellent starting to this wrestling match in her own wrestling style and continued her domination.

Layla involved in this match to divert match referee’s concentration. Michelle McCool did a mistake by kicking Beth Phoenix instead of Mickie James. Michelle McCool shocked by seeing this. Mickie James successfully used this advantage and defeated Beth Phoenix through pin fall and then celebrated her victory with wrestling fans.

After this match, Michelle McCool and Layla attacked Mickie James but Beth Phoenix attacked WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool. Similarly, Mickie James destroyed Layla. In other side, Smackdown’s most dominant diva Beth Phoenix destroyed Mickie James very seriously. Beth Phoenix also destroyed Mickie James with glam slam.
