On January 12, 2009 in Raw edition, Mike Knox attacked Rey Mysterio after Rey Mysterio’s match with The Miz. Mike Knox hardly tried to destroy Rey Mysterio but Rey Mysterio eliminated Mike Knox surprisingly.

On February 15, 2009 at No Way Out Pay Per View, Mike Knox participated in Raw elimination chamber match but eliminated by Chris Jericho. Mike Knox faced Rey Mysterio but lost this match to Rey Mysterio in Raw edition on February 16, 2009.

On March 2, 2009 in Raw edition, Mike Knox faced Rey Mysterio and Kane in triple threat money in the bank qualifying match but defeated by Kane.

On April 13, 2009 in Raw edition, Mike Knox participated in 15 man tri branded battle royal but eliminated by Mark Henry.

• August 14, 2009 WWE Smackdown – Dolph Ziggler Vs Finlay

Mike Knox appeared during a wrestling match between Finlay and #1 contender Dolph Ziggler. Mike Knox watches their wrestling match by standing at outside of the wrestling ring. Mike Knox tried to injure Finlay but Finlay kicked him. However, Mike Knox damaged knee of Finlay with drum stick and Finlay lost his wrestling match. After this wrestling match, Mike Knox destroyed Finlay with hand shots and cross body. Later, Mike Knox and Finlay went to outside of the wrestling ring where Mike Knox damaged back of Finlay with sidebar slam over steel steps.

• August 7, 2009 WWE Smackdown – Dolph Ziggler, Finlay, Mike Knox & R-Truth in fatal four way match for #1 contender of WWE Intercontinental Championship

Mike Knox faced three top class wrestling superstars Finlay, R-Truth and Dolph Ziggler for #1 contender of WWE Interontinental Championship. WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio also appeared as special guest commentator. Mike Knox completely focused on this match to become #1 contender but lost this wrestling match to Dolph Ziggler becasue Finlay injured him with Drum stick.

On September 11, 2009 in Smackdown edition, Mike Knox faced Finlay in a Belfast Brawl match. Mike Knox well dominated Finlay by injuring Finlay with steel chair, trash cans and table but lost this match to Finlay due to Finlay’s drum stick shot.

On September 18, 2009 in Smackdown, Mike Knox gave a warning to WWE Intercontinental Champion John Morrison before their match and faced John Morrison but defeated by John Morrison unfortunately.
