WWE Raw Guest Host Ben Roethlisberger granted WWE United States Championship match on one stipulation. The Miz finally faced WWE United States Champion Kofi Kingston. The Miz and Kofi Kingston performed competitive performance to give good starting to this match.
Kofi Kingston threw Miz to outside of the ring but received a headbutt. The Miz later gave hand punches to Kofi Kingston. Kofi Kingston continued his domination. The Miz went to outside of the ring with frustration. The Miz attacked Kofi Kingston from behind. The Miz gave leg shots to Kofi Kingston. The Miz gave elbow shots and hand punches to Kofi Kingston. The Miz made mistake by hitting to one corner.
Kofi Kingston used this advantage and gave hand shots repeatedly. Kofi Kingston decided to go top rope but The Miz pulled Kofi Kingston’s leg. Kofi Kingston fell down from top rope and his neck damaged. The Miz gave boot shot and later applied pressure on his neck. The Miz surprised Kofi Kingston with closeline. The Miz dropped his leg over Kofi Kingston. The Miz continued his domination but received a super kick but Miz went to outside of the ring.
Kofi Kingston gave closeline to The Miz and dropped his two legs. The Miz did not wish to lose this match. Miz injured neck of Kofi with ring ropes. Kofi Kingston and Miz gave hand punches each other. Kofi Kingston exploded and gave cross body. Kofi Kingston lost balance and destroyed him with front body slam. The Miz successfully defeated Kofi Kingston through pin fall and became new WWE United States Champion.
