8 Man Smackdown Money In The Bank ladder match at WWE Money In The Bank 2011

At July 1, 2011 Friday night Smackdown wrestling event, WWE announced list of eight Smackdown brand’s Money In The Bank ladder match participants for WWE Money In The Bank 2011 pay per view main event.

According to Money In The Bank ladder match history, the big red machine Kane participated in 4 ladder matches at WrestleMania 21, XXV, XXVII and won 2010 Money In The Bank ladder match and cashed his briefcase on same night and defeated Rey Mysterio to become new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Just like Kane, Cody Rhodes also participated in last year’s Smackdown ladder match. However, the rest of superstars Sin Cara, Sheamus, Daniel Bryan, Heath Slater, Wade Barrett and Justin Gabriel are newly entered in to Money In The Bank contract hunting.

At July 8, 2011 Friday night, except Sheamus the rest of money in the bank ladder match participants appeared in ring. Josh Mathews interviewed Daniel Bryan but interrupted by Cody Rhodes. In few moments, Celtic Warrior came to ring with a steel chair, attacked Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel and severely punished Wade Barrett but Sin Cara and remaining superstars escaped from him. He said, he surely wins eight men ladder match and also surely defeats Orton to become new World Heavyweight Champion. On same main event, Cody defeated his fellow ladder match participant Bryan in a tag team match.

Daniel Bryan and Sin Cara with Sheamus, Wade Barrett with Cody Rhodes and Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater started with Kane started this eight man Smackdown money in the bank ladder. Kane sent Slater to outside of the ring, hits head of Gabriel with one corner and Barrett sent Cody Rhodes to outside of the ring. Celtic Warrior sent International sensation to outside of the ring and concentrated on Daniel Bryan. After that the big red machine also sent Gabriel to outside of the ring. Similarly, Sheamus sent Bryan from ring. The last year’s money in the bank ladder match winner, Celtic Warrior and winner of NXT Season 1 were in ring. Barrett and Sheamus delivered double kicks to Kane’s abs area and also delivered some punches to back and stomach. However, they received a double clothesline from same one. After that he sent both of them to outside of the ring with a double clothesline.

The big red machine plans to bring a ladder to ring but received a drop kick from Bryan through the ladder. This time, Bryan planned to bring same ladder to ring but received a drop kicks from Heath and Justin at a time. The former world tag team champions pull the ladder in opposite directions, lifted ladder over their head to save from Cara’s drop kick, then attacked Sin with same ladder but later pushed a ladder to ring. Justin tried to enter into ring but pulled by Slater. Heath set a ladder but Gabriel pulled his hair and then delivered a kick to face. Gabriel moved the ladder by standing on same ladder but received a drop kick from Bryan from top rope. In few moments, Rhodes comes to ring, powerfully pushed Cody on steel ladder, set the ladder in middle of the ring, climbs the ladder but attacked by Celtic Warrior from behind.

Sheamus decided to destroy him with his powerful slam but the pay per bags provider escaped, delivered a springboard kick to Slater when Celtic Warrior escapes from it. Sheamus attacked Daniel and also attacked Cody. He later threw a ladder on Rhodes twice, set the ladder at one corner and planned to throw him on ladder. However, last year’s Smackdown ladder match winner and the man who cashed his briefcase on same night sent Cody and Celtic Warrior from ring to outside of the ring pushing them powerfully. NXT season 1 winner attacked Kane from behind with powerful shots, kicked to midsection twice but monster reversed his trick by throwing Barrett on ladder. The monster later throws a ladder on Celtic Warrior and Cody from ring. Slater fights with Kane with punches but received a sidebar slam. The big red machine goes to top rope but received a kick from Sin Cara and falls to outside of the ring.

Justin kicked on abs of Cara but Bryan delivered European uppercut, escaped from Gabriel’s punch but jumped on Barrett who was tried to enter into ring. In few moments, Gabriel delivered a moonsault to Kane from ring. Heath delivered a punch to Cody when Rhodes tries to enter into ring and delivered swinging cross body from ring. Similarly, Cara surprised Celtic Warrior with a high flying cross body from top rope to outside.  He later delivered a kick to Bryan, surprised him with a springboard cross body, received a punch from Gabriel, escaped from back suplex but Gabriel lifted Cara and Sin perfectly delivered a drop kick to Heath. Justin kicked at Cara’s abs but received a springboard back elbow drop. Cara later surprised Gabriel with Hurricanrana, delivered a kick to Bryan who claims to top rope, destroyed him with moonsault side slam from top rope, looked at briefcase, brings a ladder to ring but received a boot shot from Barrett.

Barrett set a ladder as a bridge between announce table and one side of the ring, lifted Cara to slam but Cara escaped and also escape from his attack and Barrett hits to one steel ring pole. However, he received a powerful boot shot from Sheamus and Sheamus delivered a power bomb to Cara on bridge ladder. WWE officials come to outside of the ring, checked health condition of Cara and sent him to hospital with a stretcher. Celtic Warrior attacked Barrett, Slater with a ladder, took that ladder to ring but kane punched him and then delivered an uppercut. The big red monster sent both Sheamus and ladder to outside of the ring where he dropped ladder on Celtic Warrior, delivered a boot shot to Slater, brought that ladder to ring when Cody brings a ladder to ring and simultaneously Bryan.
Bryan and Rhodes attacked Kane with powerful punches, kicks and they even exchanges punches and kicks. Kane utilized this opportunity, attacked them with a ladder, set a ladder in middle of the ring, climbs the ladder but former Corre attacked Kane. With triple work they perfectly handled the big red machine. In this mean time, Cody tries to climb it but attacked by Gabriel and Heath also joined with his former tag team partner in punishing Rhodes. After that Wade also joined with them. Bryan hardly tries to climb the ladder but Corre severly punished him. Barrett signaled them he wants to climb but the former tag team champions attacked Barrett by forgetting their friendship. They sent Barrett to outside of the ring and climb to top of the ladder but Rhodes pushed that ladder and both superstars fall on top rope. Rhodes delivered cross Rhodes to Heath Slater, climbs the ladder but pulled by Barrett and Cody delivered cross Rhodes to Wade.

Sheamus stopped climbing Rhodes, destroyed him with powerful back breaker, climbs the top of the ladder but pulled by Bryan. Daniel hits his head to ladder twice, continued climbing the ladder but lifted by Sheamus and kane delivered a clothesline from top rope to Bryan. Sheamus delivered a clothesline to Kane, punched him several times, kick to back, set a ladder as bridge between ladder and one corner to slam the big red machine. However, kane surprised him with a boot shot. The big red machine delivered chock slam to Rhodes and Justin Gabriel, continued climbing ladder but stops by Bryan. Daniel did not cooperate to kane to receive chock slam and Kane was also not cooperated to Bryan with Daniel tries his submission.

However, Bryan kicked to Kane’s face, but caught to same one by trying cross body but converted it into DDT. This time, Slater climbs the ladder but attacked by Bryan and Slater destroyed him with a high flying neck breaker from ladder. He continued climbing the ladder towards object but Barrett pulled him down, kicked to stomach several times at one corner, buts hits to same corner when Slater escapes from him. Heath goes to top rope but attacked by his same superstar. Wade kicked to Slater, also kicked Sheamus, a powerful shot to back, brought a ladder to ring but Barrett and celtic warrior pushed Slater on kane with the help of a ladder. They both pulled the same ladder but Celtic Warrior delivered a boot shot to Barrett through that ladder.

He later delivered a boot shot to Cody Rhodes, escaped from Gabriel, attacked him, kicked Barrett to outside, set a ladder between top ropes of one corner, kicked to Gabriel’s abs, hits head to bridge ladder, dropped his head on a ladder, delivered a boot shot to face, climbs the ladder, touched the briefcase but attacked by last year’s ladder match winner. They both exchanged punches; Kane tries to pull him down, receives some kicks and finally chock slammed on bridge ladder. Celtic Warrior falls down to outside of the ring. Cody, Wade and Daniel quickly entered into ring, attacked him; cody delivered ladder kick; Barrett destroyed him with a powerful slam and Gabriel delivered 450° splash from rope to kane. Wade kicked Justin in one side and Cody and Bryan exchanged punches.

Barrett threw Justin on Slater, side slam to Bryan, kick to stomach of Cody, powerful slam to cody to clear the ring and start climbing the ladder. However, Rhodes stops, sent him to outside with clothesline but this time Bryan climbs the ladder. Cody and Bryan go to top of the ladder by involving in fight but Barrett also climbed to top of the ladder in another side. However, Bryan delivered a powerful punch to Rhodes and elbows to face of Barrett. Cody falls down from top of the ladder. Barrett fights with Bryan, lifted Daniel to his shoulders to slam on a bridge ladder but Bryan opposed him with elbow shots continuously. He later kicked to face of Barrett and collected Raw money in the bank briefcase. Daniel Bryan celebrated his memorable victory from top of the ladder and reserved a guaranteed WWE World Heavyweight Championship opportunity which valid from one year time period. WWE wrestling fans appreciated Bryan’s effort and hard work.
