At Genesis on January 9, 2011, Matt Morgan lost #1 contender’s title shot to Mr. Anderson after showing lot of effort and hard work. TNA appreciated him for his effort and rewarded a TNA World Heavyweight Championship match to the blueprint Matt Morgan February 10, 2011 Thursday night Impact event but due to Hernandez’s attack he was unable to defeat Mr. Anderson in that match and permanently lost TNA world title shot. Matt Morgan seriously considered his actions and well punished him in February 24, 2011 Thursday night event. On same night he decided to face Hernandez in a match and finally faced him in March 3, 2011 Impact edition but Hernandez hits Morgan’s head to steel steps several times and made him to bleed.

Finally, TNA Wrestling granted a first blood match between Hernandez and Matt Morgan for Victory Road 2011 wrestling pay per view. Matt Morgan quickly entered into ring, blocked his challenger’s punch, well handled him with punch game, kicked into stomach several times, increased pressure on his neck with his leg, worked on neck, elbow kick to side head, elbow kicks on forehead, head butt, eliminated to outside of the ring and went to outside of the ring. The blueprint tried to hit Hernandez’s head to steel steps but Hernandez reversed it. Morgan kicked to his stomach, uppercut to his face, hits head to steel steps and entered into ring but Hernandez damaged his neck with ring ropes from outside of the ring.

Hernandez speared Matt Morgan, brought a kendo stick, broke it into two pieces, pushed powerful on neck with one piece of stick, tried to injure him with that steel to make Morgan bleeds but Morgan successfully opposed him with his power. However, Hernandez kicked on his face, punched on face, rubs forehead to ring rope, damaged back of Morgan with his nails, also tried to make him bleed on face with same nails, several punches to head but received a side slam surprisingly from Matt Morgan but kicked into stomach powerfully to control Morgan.

Morgan punched into stomach, received a powerful shot on back; Hernandez hits head to one corner, punched on face, damaged his stomach with another powerful shoulder block, punched on face but surprised by Morgan with a powerful clothesline. Matt Morgan dominated him with punch game, clotheslines, body collision, threw him backwards, brought a kendo stick, but Hernandez kicked into stomach when morgan tried to attack him and then goes to top rope. However, Morgan slammed him and decided to end this match but a fan entered into ring to attack the matt morgan but match referee stopped him perfectly and even Matt kicked him to send him to outside of the ring.

Hernandez decided to attack Morgan with a steel chain but Morgan blocked it and punched him with same steel chair and signaled match referee to come ring but match referee was unable to come ring due to fan’s attack. In few moments Hernandez squirts red color on face and chest surprisingly. Matt Morgan seriously considered it, punched him and decided to finish him with powerful boot shot and another match referee came and thought Matt Morgan gets blood and announced Hernandez as winner of this match and Matt Morgan explains situation to match referee but match referee finalized his decision and Hernandez celebrated his victory before returning to backstage.
