Chris Jericho also known Y2J Chris Jericho is a wrestling character's name of Christopher Keith Irvine. Christopher Keith Irvine who born on November 9, 1970; is a professional wrestling superstar and first undisputed world champion in professional wrestling history. He worked in several wrestling promotions like World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and World Wrestling Entertainment. He was debut in professional wrestling on October 2, 1990 internationally.

Lionheart Chris Jericho returned to WWE on January 2, 2012 Monday night Raw SuperShow and received outstanding ovation from fans.

In April 16, 2012 Raw SuperShow live edition, he congratulated WW Champion CM Punk for his big victory over World’s strongest man, irritated champion by insulting Punk’s family as drunken family, revealed he got WWE Championship title shot at Extreme Rules because of his domination for the last couple of weeks but interested to face straightedge champion in Chicago Street fight but understood Punk doesn’t have a problem to beat him in front of his family members and friends at his hometown Chicago. However, he assured champion, after their match Punk will be surrounded with whisky bottles in a bar for his failure and disconnected satellite confrontation.

Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW)


ECW World Television Champion

At the starting of 1996 year, he was introduced to Paul Heyman by Chris Benoit. On February 2, 1996, he appeared in ECW wrestling industry. At Hardcore Heaven annual wrestling event on June 22, 1996, Chris Jericho accomplished his first ECW World Television Championship by defeating Pitbull #2 but lost to Shane Douglas in Four Corners match at ECW Heat Wave wrestling event on July 13, 1996.

World Championship Wrestling (WCW)

At August 26, 1996 WCW Nitro event, Chris Jericho was debut in World Champion Wrestling (WCW).

WCW Cruiser Weight Champion

On June 28, 1997 at Nitro event, he defeated Syxx to win his first WCW Cruiserweight Championship title but lost to Alex Wright in July 28, 1997 Monday night Nitro event. However, he regained the title from same superstar at August 16, 1997 WCW Saturday night main event but later lost to Eddie Guerrero at WCW Fall Brawl on September 14, 1997. After that he defeated Rey Mysterio, Jr. at WCW Souled Out on January 24, 1998 to win Cruiserweight title once more time but later lost to Dean Malenko at Slamboree on May 17, 1998. He earned the WCW Cruiserweight title by defeating same superstar by disqualification at The Great American Bash on June 14, 1998 but lost title to Juventud Guerrera at WCW Road Wild on August 8, 1998.

WCW World Television Champion

After that he defeated Stevie Ray to become WCW World Television Champion at August 10, 1998 WCW Nitro event but lost title to Konnan on same event on November 30, 1998.

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)

On August 9, 1999 in Raw Is War edition, Y2J Chris Jericho started his wrestling career in World Wrestling Entertainment by interrupting The Rock's show, introduced to fans but insulted The Rock, also insulted by the Rock in front of wrestling fans and he was almost cried due to disrespect of The Rock.

WWE Intercontinental Champion

At Armageddon on December 12, 1999; he defeated Chyna to become Intercontinental Champion but due to double pin fall he and Chyna acted as Co-Intercontinental Champion from January 3, 2001 Raw is War and Royal Rumble on January 23, 2000. At Royal Rumble he won triple threat match to become Intercontinental champion but at No Way Out on February 27, 2000 he lost title to Kurt Angle.

WWE European Champion

At WrestleMania on April 2, 2000; he won triple threat match to become European Champion but lost to Eddie Guerrero in April 3, 2000 live Raw event.

WWE Intercontinental Champion

However, he once again became Intercontinental champion at May 4, 2000 by defeating the man who helped him to become star in professional wrestling i.e Chris Benoit, lost to title in May 8, 2000 Raw is War event but retained the title from same superstar in a ladder match at Royal Rumble on January 21, 2001. After that he lost title to Triple H in April 5, 2001 Smackdown event.

WWE World Tag Team Champion

At May 21, 2001 Raw event, he and his tag partner Chris Benoit defeated Two Man Power Triple H & Stone Cold Steve Austin to become WWE World Tag Team Champion.

WWE hardcore Champion & World Tag Team Champion

At May 28, 2001 Raw is War event, World Tag Team Champion defeated Big Show to become Hardcore Champion but lost title to Rhyna on same night in another match.

WWE World Tag Team Champion

He and Chris Benoit lost titles to Dudley Boyz in June 21, 2001.

WCW World Heavyweight Champion

At No Mercy on October 21, 2001 pay per view main event, he defeated The Rock to become WCW World Heavyweight Champion.

WCW World Heavyweight Champion & World Tag Team Champion

The new WCW world champion teamed up with Rock in October 22, 2001 Raw event and defeated Dudley Boyz to become World Tag Team Champion but lost titles to Booker T & Test in October 30, 2001 Smackdown event.

WCW World Heavyweight Champion

He lost World Heavyweight title to The Rock in November 5, 2001 Raw is War event but retained the title in first ever Vengeance pay per view on December 9, 2001.

WWE Undisputed Champion

At same Vengeance pay per view he also defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin to become WWE Champion. Thus he became first WWE Undisputed Champion in wrestling history by winning World title and WWE Championship on same night. He later lost WWE Championship to Triple H at WrestleMania X8 on March 17, 2002.

WWE Intercontinental Champion

At September 16, 2002 Monday night Raw, he defeated Rob Van Dam to become Intercontinental Champion once again but lost title to Kane in September 30, 2002 Raw event.

WWE World Tag Team Champion

He teamed up with Christian, defeated team of Hurricane and Kane to become WWE World tag team champion in October 14, 2002 Raw event but lost to team of Booker T and Goldust at Armageddon on December 15, 2002 in a four way elimination match.

WWE Intercontinental Champion

He won the Intercontinental title sixth time by defeating RVD in October 27, 2003 Raw event but lost to same superstar on same night in a steel cage match. He defeated Christian in a ladder match to collect the Edge’s vacated Intercontinental title at Unforgiven on September 12, 2004 but lost to Shelton Benjamin at Taboo Tuesday on October 19, 2004. At March 10, 2008 Monday night Raw event, he defeated Jeff Hardy to become Intercontinental champion, became successful as champion but at Night of Champions on June 29, 2008 his title changed hands which means he lost title to Kofi Kingston.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion

Luckily, on September 7, 2008 at Unforgiven; he participated in championship scramble match instead of WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk when Punk was injured by Orton’s punt and became WWE World Heavyweight Champion but lost to Batista at Cyber Sunday on October 28, 2008 but regained the title by defeating same superstar in a steel cage match at November 3, 2008 Raw event. After that, he lost title to John Cena at Survivor Series on November 23, 2008.

WWE Intercontinental Champion

He defeated the high flying Rey Mysterio in No Holds Barred match at Extreme Rules on June 7, 2009 but lost title to same superstar at WWE The Bash pay per view in a Mask Vs Title match on June 28, 2009.

WWE Unified Tag Team Champion

At The Bash 2009, he teamed up with Edge, won triple threat unified tag team championship match to become WWE Unified tag team champion i.e WWE tag team champion and also world tag team champion. Because of Edge’s severe injury, he selected Big Show as his tag team partner at Night of Champions on July 26, 2009 but lost titles to D Generation X members Shawn Michaels and Triple H in Tables, Ladders & Chairs match at December 13, 2009.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion

He won Elimination Chamber on February 21, 2010 to become new WWE World Heavyweight Champion but Swagger cashed his Money In The Bank contract against him and Jericho lost title to Jack Swagger at April 2, 2010 Friday night Smackdown.
