2012

On January 13 Friday night, he interrupted serious conversation between Teddy Long and Santino and later beat Marella in a match.

2011

He and his teammates attacked Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov, received serious punishment from the big show to show his sacrifice and initiation to people as per his leader CM Punk’s order in January 10 Raw event.

WWE Tag Team Champion

At June 27, 2011 Raw roulette event, he received a sweet chin music from the heart break kid Shawn Michaels in front of his Nexus members Michael McGilliCutty and CM Punk.

2010

On February 23, 2010 at first ever NXT, he defeated Darren Young and impressed his WWE Pro R Truth.

On February 26, 2010 Smackdown edition, he attended to triple threat money in the bank qualifying match as special guest with R Truth.

On April 20, 2010 at NXT, David Otunga eliminated from Rock’ EM Sock’ EM Rookie Challenge in first round by Heath Slater and later faced Justin Gabriel in one on one match. In that match, he does not give importance to his Pro R Truth. However, he expected help from R Truth at the end of that match but he did not get from his Pro. Finally, he lost his match to Justin Gabriel.

He surprisingly appeared as In-Charge of Nexus at Friday night November 5 Smackdown with his fellow Nexus teammates Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, Michael McGilliCutty and Husky Harris and attacked Alberto Del Rio and Edge but re-attacked by Rey Mysterio, Kane and Big Show. On same night, he attacked Rey Mysterio and said Nexus can do anything including dominating Smackdown. In fact Wade Barrett was in UK in this mean time he and his boys would like to show something to Smackdown. He later also attacked MVP and Kaval at backstage very seriously but pinned by Edge in a five on five tag team match.

At November 12 Smackdown he and his nexus members surrounded Rated R Superstar, as per Vickie Guerrero’s warning quits from attack and shakes hand with edge but received a spear surprisingly. His nexus members do not want to support him in lumberjack match because of 16 Smackdown roster superstars but he inspired them; later he defeated edge but some of the Smackdown superstars attacked them.

At December 13 Raw edition He met leader of Nexus Wade Barrett and questioned him to know whether he brings Cena back or not. As per his opinion Nexus will be fine with Barrett does not reveal his decision but Barrett count not expect help from them.
