He interrupted most important conversation of Theodore Long, Zack Ryder and Santino Marella in GM’s office at January 6, 2012 Smackdown event but frustrated when GM decided to fire him if he is unable to beat Santino. Unfortunately, he was beaten by Marella but got a last chance from General Manager of Smackdown. He tried to talk to GM, frustrated when Theodore Long doesn’t want to listen to him and lost a match to Ted DiBiase in January 13 Smackdown television program.

2011

At January 7 Smackdown event, he met Kelly Kelly at backstage before his #1 contender’s match. He asked her support and the same support he would like to give her in their entire life. He said he would like to become world’s champion and got a #1 contender’s match opportunity and received thanks from Kelly Kelly. However he unable to win #1 contender’s match though he performed excellent performance. He later saved Kelly Kelly from Lay Cool on same  night. He defeated by Trent Barreta surprisingly, attacked him at backstage but insulted by Kelly Kelly after seeing his uncontrollable attitude and tried to convince but she left that place in January 14 Friday night.

He took retribution by defeating Trent Barreta, offered shake hand to him but attacked by Trent and decided to destroy him but excused him due to Kelly Kelly’s involvement in January 21 Smackdown. However he shocked by seeing Kelly kelly takes care of Trent Barreta. He was eliminated by World’s Champion edge from edge’s eliminator gets 40th position royal rumble exhibition match at January 24 Monday night Raw.

He qualified to Smackdown elimination chamber match by defeating Kofi Kingston when Alberto Del Rio diverts the concentration of his challenger at February 4 Smackdown event.

In February 18 Smackdown, he lost 12 man tag team match, participated in 6 man elimination chamber match at Elimination Chamber on February 20, 2011 but eliminated by Kane. He lost mixed tag team match to Edge and Kelly Kelly by teaming up with Vickie Guerrero in February 25 Smackdown event. He attacked Edge at the starting of March 4 Smackdown event but eliminated from that ring by Edge. He was appreciated by Theodore Long and Edge for Vickie Guerrero’s dismiss. However he defeated by Edge in a match, arranged by Smackdown GM Theodore Long on same night.

He lost a match to World Heavyweight Champion Edge in March 25 Friday night Smackdown.
