He interrupted Kofi Kingston’s show, appreciated him but unable to defeat him in one on one match in January 14 Smackdown event. He defeated Intercontinental Champion in amateur wrestling match with 10 points, attacked him after that match but received serious punishment from Kofi at January 21 Friday night. He was eliminated from edge’s eliminator gets 40th position royal rumble exhibition match by World’s Champion edge at January 24 Monday night Raw.
Jack Swagger eliminated from 40 man over the top rope rumble by Rey Mysterio at Royal Rumble on January 30, 2011 and also lost elimination chamber qualifying match to same superstar in February 4 Smackdown event.

He easily defeated Kofi Kingston due to his challenger’s severe injuries in February 25 Friday night.

At WrestleMania 27 on April 3, 2011, he worked in Cole’s corner as trainer, interfered in match but received a stone cold stunner but felt very happy when anonymous Raw GM made Michael Cole as winner.

At July 4, 2011 Raw event, he insulted WWE hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter, issued a challenge, successfully defeated him, punished him with ankle lock submission but attacked but Evan Bourne surprisingly.

On October 7, 2011 at Friday night Smackdown, he demanded people to show some respect and also demanded them to show respect for WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio, later attacked Kofi Kingston along with his tag team partner Dolph before their match get started and successfully defeated Air Boom by pinning Evan.

He defeated Chris Masters in a Survivor Series showdown match at November 19 Smackdown, attacked Rey Mysterio and involved in a battle royal as per Theodore Long’s order but eliminated by Rey Mysterio and Big Show.
At November 26, Smackdown, he received good support from his eagle but lost king of the ring qualifying match to Kofi Kingston and also lost #1 contender of Intercontinental title match to same superstar at December 3 Smackdown event. However he identified one of the rules was violated by Kingston during their last week match on December 10 Smackdown and seriously injured Kofi Kingston with ankle lock during Intercontinental Championship match on same night. In December 17 Smackdown event, he teamed up with Dolph Ziggler but lost their tag team match to Kofi Kingston and Kaval due to Ziggler and seriously injured his tag team partner Ziggler after that match but received warning from Vickie Guerrero.
He interrupted conversation between Kofi Kingston, Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler, just like Kofi he also showed ending of TLC ladders match and demanded a title shot but unable to win the title in December 31 Friday night.
