Hacksaw Jim Duggan
James Stuart Duggan, popularly known as Hacksaw Jim Duggan; born on January 14, 1954; is a professional legendary wrestling superstar. He was trained by Peter Maivia and Fritz Von Erich and started his professional wrestling career in 1979.
He won first ever 20 man over the top rope elimination royal rumble at Royal Rumble pay per view on January 24, 1988. He won his first WCW United States Heavyweight Championship by defeating Steve Austin at Fall Brawl on September 18, 1994 but lost title to Big Van Vader at Starrcade on Demceber 27, 1994. At WCW Saturday night on February 16, 2000 Jim Duggan became WCW World Television champion but officially retired on April 10, 2000 on Monday night WCW Nito as last WCW Television champion in WCW wrestling history.
Jim Duggan included in WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2011.
