At July 25, 2011 Raw live event, he was shocked when Triple H welcomes Jim Ross to WWE as regular Raw commentator but Cole later insulted Jim Ross, tried to convince the chief operating officer but shocked when Triple H decided to fire him. After that he agreed to work with Jim Ross but shocked again when Triple H puts him in a match against a mysterious opponent. He comes to ring with Triple H's entrance music, even dressed as Triple H but lost match to Zack Ryder.
