Rey Mysterio is a legendary professional wrestling superstar. Rey Mysterio's real name is Oscar Gutiérrez and born on December 11, 1974. Rey Mysterio is popularly called as Rey Mysterio 619. He is trained by legendary professional wrestler and his uncle Rey Mysterio.
On January 29, 2006 at Royal Rumble, Rey Mysterio won Royal Rumble and became WWE World Heavyweight Champion first time in his professional wrestling career at WrestleMania 22 on April 2, 2006 by defeating Kurt Angle and Randy Orton in a triple threat match but lost title to King Booker The Great American Bash on July 23, 2006 after holding his title for 112 days.
At Fata 4 Way on June 20, 2010, he became World Champion second time by defeating The Big Show, CM Puk and Jack Swagger, holds title for 28 days but lost to Kane at Money In the Bank on July 18, 2010.

He attended to Friday night on January 14 during a hot conversation between Cody Rhodes, R Truth and Alberto Del Rio. He said to Cody, winning the royal rumble is not appearing as diva and also said to Del Rio winning the royal rumble is not desnity but it is what we think inside. He reminded them, he already won the Royal Rumble in 2006 but wants to win it once again, involved in a fight with Del Rio and Rhodes with R Truth’s support. He and his tag team partner R Truth won tag team match by defeating them as Smackdown General Manager's order.

At February 11 Smackdown event, he talked about Cody Rhodes and his broken nose, said that injures are part of the game, cody Rhodes finds guts and talent during his tough time and he wants to concentrate on his match against Wade Barrett, also wants to go to WrestleMania by winning Elimination chamber as world champion, later participated in a match, drop kicked Justin Gabriel but lost match to Wade Barrett fortunately saved by Big Show from Corre after that match. He won twelve man tag team match in February 18 Smackdown event, played very important role in 6 man Smackdown elimination chamber match but unable to win WWE world title at Elimination Chamber on February 20, 2011.
At February 25 Smackdown event, he defeated Kane, felt very happy by seeing his long time friend and WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes; accepted his apology on behalf of his son Cody Rhodes; also received sorry from Cody but caught to Dusty’s trick; seriously injured by Cody Rhodes and also unmasked by Cody.

He participated in a WrestleMania 26 rewind match against the founder of former Straightedge Society and leader of Nexus CM Punk but attacked by Cody Rhodes and seriously punished by Dashing one at March 25 Friday night. After that he was hospitalized by WWE officials. Rey Mysterio lost match to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 27 on April 3, 2011, teamed up with Randy Orton and defeated Cody Rhodes and CM Punk in a tag team match in April 4 Raw event and saved Trent Barreta from Rhodes in April 8 Smackdown event.

Rey Mysterio defeated The Miz in WWE Championship tournament's finals to become new WWE Champion, received appreciations from his fellow superstars including John Cena at backstage, did beer bath, informed to his family through national TV that Daddy is going to bring gold to home this time but later lost his title to John Cena in another title match which was made by new Chief Operating Officer Triple H on July 25, 2011 in live Raw event.

On April 3, 2003 at Smackdown, he defeated by the undertaker in WWE Championship #1 contender's first round tournament.
On October 9, 2003 in Smackdown edition, Rey Mysterio appeared as a special guest commentator and joined with Tazz and Michael Cole to watch a wrestling match between Ultimo Dragon and WWE Cruiserweight Champion Tajiri. After this wrestling match, Rey Mysterio entered into wrestling ring and gave a 619 to Tajiri.

Return to WWE
On August 26, 2007 at SummerSlam, he returned to WWE and faced Chavo Guerrero and successfully defeated him.
Rey Mysterio faced Finlay in #1 contender's match but disqualified by losing his control. After this match, Rey Mysterio destroyed by The Undertaker at Smackdown edition on October 12, 2007.
