2012

WWE United States Champion & Assistant to Smackdown General Manager

On January 2, 2012 Raw SuperShow, he was insulted by Jack Swagger while talking to Eve Torres but their problem with Swagger was settled by John Laurinaitis, later participated in a six man tag team match in which he was attacked by the big red monster Kane and fortunately escaped from monster’s reddish fire with Cena’s help.

He met Theodore Long on January 6, 2012 Smackdown edition, requested him to release from his duties by explaining his problems but suggested Santino Marella as his replacement.

On January 9, 2012 Raw SuperShow, He was insulted by Kane, decided to do something to Kane, even informed to his father through a phone call, later met Eve; showed interest to go out with her, felt very happy when Eve also shows interest but could not observe kane’s observation from behind the door. Ryder cleaned his teeth at dressing room but unable to avoid the fear of Kane. On same night he met John Cena, said thanks for his last week help; after that save Eve from Kane, then hurried to send her from arena but shocked by seeing car’s tire burst. However, he tried to set up another tire but assaulted by the big red monster Kane at parking lot.

He attended to an interview of national television in January 16 Raw event with injured waist wound by bandage, not ok physically and finally lost his United States title to Jack Swagger after receiving several Gutwrench suplexes, takes some treatment from trainers after that match at backstage but astounded when John Laurinaitis apologized to him for mistake.

At January 23 Raw SuperShow, he got some support from Mick Foley but his friends John Cena and Eve were worried; later assaulted by Kane brutally in a falls count anywhere match and hospitalized by Doctors after that match but attended to Royal Rumble on January 29, 2012 in a wheel chair, initially mocked by John Laurinaitis but got a special room with some facilities. However, he was assaulted by big red monster Kane again, received a tombstone in ring and again hospitalized by WWE Doctors.

2011

He defeated Michael Cole who dressed as Triple H in July 25, 2011 Raw event.

At Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay per view on December 18, 2011, Zack Ryder defeated Dolph Ziggler to become new WWE United States Champion.

2009

Smakdown

On January 2, 2009 in Smackdown edition, Zack Ryder and his tag team partner Curt Hawkins felt very happy to face Finlay and Hornswoggle in a tag team match but The Great Khali appeared as actual tag team partner of Finlay. Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder shocked but wrestled with hope. However, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder lost their tag team match to The Great Khali and Finlay. After this wrestling match, Hornswoggle attacked him.

ECW Wrestler

On September 1, 2009 in ECW, Shelton Benjamin challenged Zack Ryder but Zack Ryder lost his wrestling match to Shelton Benjamin.

On September 22, 2009 in ECW edition, Zack Ryder faced ECW Champion Christian for ECW Championship but lost this match.

Zack Ryder requested Rosa Mendes to appear in his corner and once again faced Shelton benjamin but lost this match by countout on November 12, 2009 Superstars.
