World Wrestling Entertainment presents a wrestling match between #1 contender of Unified tag team championship R Truth and WWE Unified tag team champion and United States Champion The Miz at WWE Friday night Smackdown on March 12, 2010. On March 5, 2010 Smackdown edition, R Truth became new #1 contender of Unified tag team champion by facing two great tag teams with his tag team partner John Morrison.

However, R Truth destroyed The Miz with the help of his tag team partner on March 8, 2010 WWE Monday night Raw edition. Similarly, R Truth defeated The Miz in a tag team match with his rookie David Otunga on March 9, 2010 WWE NXT. The Miz seriously considered R Truth’s actions very seriously and decided to face him in one on one wrestling match. Finally, these two wrestling superstars challenged in this wrestling main event.
