WWE Raw - September 5, 2011

WWE Raw is a Monday night entertaining wrestling live main event of World Wrestling Entertainment. WWE presents its 953 Monday night Raw event at Nationwide Arena, Columbus, Ohio on September 5, 2011 to entertain wrestling fans. Storyline of this entertaining event is developed as per last week Raw event and previous wrestling pay per view WWE SummerSlam 2011 and it also develops storyline for next week Raw event and next professional wrestling annual pay per view Night of Champions 2011.

4. Zack Ryder & Jerry Lawler defeated David Otunga & Michael McGilliCutty in tag team match

6. Christian, Dolph Ziggler, Wade Barrett & Jack Swagger lost to John Cena, Sheamus, Alex Riley & John Morrison in six man tag team elimination match

The best in the world CM Punk attended to this Raw super show and received amazing ovation from wrestling fans. As we already know, COO made a match between Nash and Punk but cancelled that match because of objection from Board of WWE. However, Board made a match between Punk and Triple H for Night of Champions pay per view and they officially signed on contract papers in August 30, 2011 Super Smackdown but both attacked by Kevin Nash surprisingly. He sits at middle of the ring and fans chanted his name.

Triple H fires Kevin Nash from WWE in front of CM Punk

He got a little bit news and interested to share with wrestling fans because he wants to prove a point. He said, he is different, walk differently, act differently, speak differently but horrible things fall down from his head. He proclaimed he is the best wrestler in the world and also has the ability to prove best in the ring. Being different makes him different and also makes him as a target for other people. Because of this ring, R Truth was interrupted his match last week and decided to wrestle R Truth in this super show. He later talked about man and much interested to kick at his face and that man is Kevin Nash. WWE universe booed Nash.

Just like him, Nash is also different but insulted him by talking about his old music has been used since 1996. He later talked about Triple H but COO made Nash as his enemy. He does not think about their plan but he wants to think differently because as per his opinion there is no best buddy in pro wrestling. He is sure Nash will be in Triple H’s corner at Night of Champions, decided to do something to Nash in this event which is entirely different and called Kevin Nash to face him like a man and looked at his watch and anxiously waits for his music. WWE wrestling fans start encouraging CM Punk.

In few moments, the legendary Kevin Nash responded to Nash. Kevin does not want to listen to Punk, wants to do whatever he wants, wherever he wants and reminded his actions at last week which means he struck him in ring. CM Punk does not want to waste his time, insulted him by considering Bid Daddy Cool Diesel as complainer. Punk could not expect what exactly he does to Punk if he comes to ring. He compared their sizes, appreciated Triple H for their match cancellation because he knew he can kill Punk in ring.

CM Punk reminded Kevin won his first World Heavyweight Championship in 1994 and in same year Justin Bieber was born and now he is famous in television shows. Punk is sure he can take care of Nash, would like to see how Nash can handle him and Kevin Nash almost reached the ring but the Chief Operating Officer Triple H attended and looked at CM Punk.

Kevin Nash entreated Triple H to put his hands on CM Punk by seriously considering Punk’s talking. Triple H did not say anything, entered into ring, talked Nash putting his hands on him at last Friday bight but forgave him. He considered it is not a normal week and here people find out the truth. Triple H security tapes of SummerSlam wrestling pay per view and found Kevin Nash was sent a message to his cell phone through Triple H’s cell phone to divert the attention.

Kevin Nash entered into ring, agreed with triple h’s investigation result and in fact Nash wants to make WWE cool again, exciting but considered CM Punk as cancer. He forced Triple H to fire one of them. Triple H does not have problem to fire them but his main problem is his best friend. In fact Chief Operating Officer does not like CM Punk but he never lie to him but Nash tells lie to him. Kevin shocked Triple H appreciating Punk in front of his friend and reminded he is best friend of him for 20 years and also reminded him as his friend.

Nash talked about his push at Friday night, said to him he could not control his emotion at that time, that’s why pushed Triple H, also said friends can do that but asked what he is going to do about it! But once again puts his hands on Triple H by forgetting his position. Triple H surprised him by punching to face, said may be we were friends but friend Kevin Nash from World Wrestling Entertainment. CM Punk laughed at Kevin Nash and returned to backstage.

The Vice President of WWE talent relations John Laurinaitis met the frustrated Kevin Nash at Car parking area where Nash hits his car frustratingly. After that they both left arena.

WWE tag team champion Evan Bourne attended to this super show and in few moments another tag team champion Kofi Kingston also attended to this event. Justin Roberts announced a tag team match, introduced Air Boom to WWE wrestling fans and then introduced their tag team challengers The Great Khali and Jinder Mahal.

Match: 1

• Kofi Kingston & Evan Bourne Vs Great Khali & Jinder Mahal in tag team match

Jinder Mahal delivered kicks to abdominal area of Evan Bourne to start this tag team match, also a powerful shot to spinal area but surprised by same one with headscissors takedown. Bourne delivered some roundhouse kicks to Mahal’s leg, escaped from his punches but his opponent’s high knee was connected to his face. Jinder destroyed him with full nelson slam, holds him, and gave tag to his tag team partner and The Great Khali kicked to midsection to continue this match officially. He later delivered a Khali Chop to Bourne, hits head to one corner, delivered some kicks to abs area, arm chop on chest and then Mahal got tag, rubs his knee on neck of his opponent, delivered a body slam but did a mistake with high knee and Evan successfully escaped from it.

However, Jinder dropped some high knees on chest of same opponent by holding the ring rope but tag team champion puts his heel against Jinder’s high knee move and his heel was injured Mahal’s throat area and Kofi Kingston delivered a high flying punch from top rope, some chops to chest, drop kick, high flying clothesline, planned to perform Boom Drop but Khali pulls down the top rope and Kofi was fallen to outside of the ring. Khali quickly sends him to ring where Jinder Mahal plans to deliver full nelson slam to Kingston but accidentally received a Brian Chop from Great Khali. Kofi Kingston delivered a kick Khali to send him to outside of the ring and gave tag to Evan Bourne. WWE tag team champion Evan Bourne successfully destroyed Jinder Mahal with air bourne and pinned Mahal to win this match.

Kofi Kingston entered into rind and appreciated him. They later celebrated their tag team victory with wrestling fans and collected their tag team titles from match referee and match referee raised their hands. They both returned to backstage happily.

World Wrestling Entertainment showed the arrival of WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio and his special ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez. Ricardo Rodriguez opened car door, gave his title to his match and then walk from that place.

WWE divas champion Kelly Kelly attended to this edition to watch #1 contender’s match and received amazing ovation from wrestling fans. She interacted with her fans and sit near to commentators to act as special guest commentator. Justin Roberts announced #1 contender match, introduced Beth Phoenix. Natalya also attended to this event as special guest commentator for this divas match.

Match: 2

• Beth Phoenix Vs Eve Torres in #1 contender of Divas title match

Beth Phoenix pushed Eve powerfully to start this match but Eve applied a side head lock to Phoenix but later pushed by The Most Dominant Diva in the WWE. Eve Torres hardly tried to pin Beth but Phoenix did not give chance to her. However, later Torres delivered a side kick to abs area, presented an elbow to face but The Fabulous Firebird powerfully pushed Eve towards a steel ring pole and Eve’s shoulder was seriously injured because of steel ring pole. Beth went to outside of the ring where she pulled that injured hand down to increase the pressure on that injured shoulder and also injured it by hitting forearm to steel ring pole.

WWE divas champion Kelly Kelly and Natalya enjoy this match from commentators’ area. Eve slapped Beth but received a power kick on chest. The Total Package of Women's Wrestling dropped a leg but Eve escaped from it but delivered a super kick to chest. Torres delivered a bicycle kick to hunched over Phoenix, then clothesline, handspring standing moonsault, delivered some elbows to face but Beth Phoenix destroyed Eve with Glam Slam and pinned her to become new #1 contender of divas championship title.

Beth Phoenix became very emotional to become new #1 contender of Divas title, reserved a match with Kelly Kelly at Night of Champions pay per view. After that match referee raised her hand and Justin Roberts introduced Phoenix as new #1 contender. WWE divas champion checked condition of Eve near to ring rope but Beth Phoenix intimidated her by kicking bottom rope. Kelly Kelly argues Beth but Natalya attacked divas champion from behind and mocked both of them. Natalya later appreciated Beth Phoenix.

Drew McIntyre talked about super Smackdown with Captain Charisma, understood he is victim of injustice and Christian said to him that I think I deserve one more chance to become world heavyweight champion. In few moments WWE Champion Del Rio came, requested McIntyre to allow him to talk to Christian personally. Drew understood and then left that place.

Alberto Del Rio pollutes Christian’s mind

Del Rio actually expected to see Christian as new World Heavyweight Champion and because of John Cena they both here. The former world champion understood that Del Rio encourages him to take care of Cena to clear his route. Christian does not any issue to face Cena but would like to settle their business in his terms. Alberto Del Rio logically talked to him; which means he reminded Cena destroying Christian with AA and then WWE puts him in a steel cage match. If Christian dominates Cena at that match and he could be a new World heavyweight champion after 24 hours and then left that place.

R Truth met his friend The Miz and then attended to this Monday night Raw event alone.

Miz & R Truth plan to face Air Boom at Night of Champions

He saw Punk’s show and Punk called himself as different guy. He questioned WWE fans, how he does think a different guy! He stated R Truth is only a true man who always says truth. He decided to maintain his personality as good truth. He later insulted all little jimmies by talking about Night of Champions pay per view.

In few moments, The Miz also came to support R Truth. Miz got a good idea but R Truth discouragingly talked to Miz without knowing his idea but ordered fans to maintain some silence to know it. Both of them know there is a conspiracy. He later talked about Triple H’s conspiracy as per Miz, Triple H is actually thinking about to save his best friend rather than concentrating on two talented superstars in WWE. For this reason, Miz decided to do his job for Triple H and announced that they are going to face Air Boom in a tag team titles match at Night of Champions pay per view. The Miz insulted their tag’s name by telling they are boo and considered that name is stupid name for their team. R Truth also insulted their team and also interested to face them.

In few moments, the best in the pro wresting CM Punk attended to this super show to face R Truth in one on one wrestling match.

Match: 3

• R Truth Vs CM Punk

CM Punk turned hand of R Truth, delivered kicks to knee, lifted his leg to make him fall from his feet, reversed him, kicked to backbone area powerfully, kicked at leg joint, kicked on midsection, applied side head lock, later reached at one corner R Truth kicked at midsection, slapped him, applied side head lock, increased pressure around his head, received a kick to kidney area, delivered a shoulder block but surprised by Punk’s standing drop kick. The truth left ring and Miz encouraged R Truth but Punk surprised them with suicide dive but Miz escaped from that move intelligently. Punk and Miz warned each other and then straightedge super pushed his opponent into ring.

R Truth utilized this opportunity, kicked at shoulder, also several kicks to chest, dropped an elbow on neck, punch to face, received a punch but reversed him, later applied chin lock, received some elbows to abs but delivered a powerful forearm shot to back and then pushed him to outside of the ring. The Miz utilized this opportunity; attacked Punk by attacking his knee but acted like he does not know anything. R Truth later brought him to ring, delivered several kicks to injured knee, hits it to ring’s ground twice, kicked on that knee, another kick at leg’s joint, once again kicked on knee, dragged him near to bottom, when to outside of the ring and hits down his leg but insulted WWE wrestling fans. The Awesome one felt very happy and enjoyed it.

CM Punk kicked at midsection, technically tried to pin him but R Truth drop kicked at injured knee. R Truth delivered some punches to head, applied knee breaker submission, hits his knee to ground, slapped him but Punk delivered a roundhouse kick to knee in return thrice. However, the straightedge superstar did not give chance to his opponent with several kicks to midsection, punches to face but R Truth changed situation with a side kick. R Truth delivered a body slam, goes to top rope but CM Punk attacked him. The Second City Saint delivered some knife edge chops, destroyed him with a superplex, blocked his punch, punched to face, roundhouse kicks to leg and a reverse kick to midsection.

The Straightedge Savior presented a mule kick, surprised with Step up high knee to a cornered R Truth, single hand bulldog, springboard clothesline but R Truth kicked at kidney area, performed Truth Conviction. However, The Voice of The Voiceless kicked at midsection but later Miz pulled Punk’s leg illegally. Punk seriously considered it, drop kicked Miz and Miz seriously considered and decided to fight with Punk but match referee ordered him to go to backstage. As per match referee’s order, Miz returned to backstage and in ring R truth utilized it, attacked his opponent with forearm smash but Punk successfully performed Go To Sleep with injured knee and pinned him to win this match.

Match referee raised his hand and CM Punk celebrated his victory and in few moments Justin Roberts introduced him to WWE Universe as winner of this match.

Triple H & CM Punk add stipulations to their match

Surprisingly, the chief operating officer came to talk to him something but CM Punk does not want to listen to Triple H because they are still best friends though Triple H fires Nash from World Wrestling Entertainment. COO does not care what he is thinking about him but he informed to Punk about their match stipulation. He seriously considered Punk’s discourteous comments about his family and wife, does not want to satisfy pinning Punk at Night of Champions but wants to hurt him badly. Hence he added no disqualification rules to their match.

Anything goes. If Punk defeats him he ignores everything but if he defeats him then he might fire him too from World Wrestling Entertainment. CM Punk told him to stay for some time to tell his opinion to the game. CM Punk likes No disqualification match, later reminded his sledgehammer attacks for the last ten years. Similarly, Punk added a stipulation to their match. If he defeats Game at Night of Champions, triple must resign to his job. Triple H accepted his proposal and then returned to backstage. CM Punk later continued his celebration.

David Otunga and Michael McGilliCutty were already in ring and waits for their tag team challengers. In few moments, Jerry The King Lawler attended to this event. Justin Roberts introduced this WWE Hall of Famer. As we already knew, in August 29, 2011 Monday night Raw event, David Otunga and then Michael McGilliCutty blamed Raw commentator Jerry Lawler for their failure and also Otunga puts his hands on jerry Lawler. The King seriously considered their actions, decided to face them in a tag team match in this super show, said he never said they are not good athletes and introduced Zack Ryder as his tag team partner. The WWE Internet Champion attended to this event to support The King.

Match: 4

• Jerry Lawler & Zack Ryder Vs David Otunga & Michael McGilliCutty in tag team match

Michael McGilliCutty kicked to Ryder’s abs to start this tag team match, punched to back head, some kicks on shoulder, hits head to one corner, gave tag to David Otunga and Otunga powerfully pushed his tag team partner towards Ryder and Michael connected his elbow to Zack’s face. David surprised him with a cornered clothesline and they tag team partners insulted Jerry Lawler. David "A List" Otunga put his knee on back, pushed it forcefully, argued with match referee and in this mean time McGilliCutty punched his face illegally. Otunga later applied side head lock, blocked him to avoid tag, later attacked Jerry Lawler but Ryder successfully controlled Otunga with Flipjack, gave tag to Jerry The King Lawler and he delivered several punches to face.

He then drop kicked Otunga but his pin fall was interrupted by Michael. McGilliCutty attacked Zack Ryder but Ryder eliminated him to outside of the ring by pulling top rope down and in other side Jerry Lawler dropped his knee on face, presented a crown drop and Ryder wants tag. Lawler gave tag to Ryder and Zack Ryder successfully handled David Otunga with rough ryder and pinned him to win this match.

WWE wrestling fans appreciated Zack Ryder and in few moments Jerry Lawler entered into ring. Match referee raised their hands and Justin Roberts promulgated Jerry and Ryder as victorious of this match.

World Wrestling Entertainment showed WWE United States Champion Dolph Ziggler, WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio and his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez.

Alberto Del Rio pollutes Dolph Ziggler’s mind

WWE Champion said to US Champion, he is a very friendly person but reminded a rumor at locker room. Because of Dolph Ziggler’s last week failure against Randy Orton, Vickie Guerrero is ready to drop Dolph. Ziggler also knew a rumor about Del Rio. Alberto Del Rio is afraid of John Cena. WWE Champion smiled. Though he worked on Raw last week, Del Rio was not there because of his fear. In few moments, Bella Twins came and said Del Rio, they missed him last week. He requested them to wait for five minutes for him and Bella Twins understood him and provide privacy. He knew the Cena who insults Vickie Guerrero and Dolph by making fun. He opened his opinion; Vickie Guerrero actually searches for someone to fight with Cena and that person is Jack Swagger and also said that she is a butterfly and then left that place.

World Wrestling Entertainment showed WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton at backstage and he walks at backstage to come to ring and finally attended to his former brand Raw but received same ovation from fans. Justin Roberts promulgated a one on one match, introduced Randy Orton and also introduced Heath Slater to WWE Universe.

Match: 5

• Randy Orton Vs Heath Slater

WWE World Heavyweight Champion kicked at midsection to start this match, injured his shoulder by pushing him towards a steel ring pole, delivered European uppercuts, performed Orton Stomp to punish his opponent, and dropped high knee on face but Heath Slater made him blind with a cheap shot to on eyes. Slater later delivered an enzuigiri. The One Man Southern Rock Band delivered knee kicks to backbone area, applied chin lock but Viper delivered some punches to abs, then headbutt, but Slater surprised him with a spinebuster. He applied chin lock but Orton surprised him with headbutts, clotheslines, Olympic slam, rope hung DDT, finally RKO and then pinned Heath to win this match.

Randy Orton’s hand was raised by match referee and he received appreciations from his fans and also from WWE Universe and continued his celebration with WWE Universe.

At locker room, Wade Barrett met Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks. Curt and Reks have a big plan for their future and asked Barrett about his plan. Alberto Del Rio came with his ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez and requested them to leave that place to talk to Barrett personally. Reks and Hawkins understood and left that place.

Alberto Del Rio pollutes Wade Barrett’s mind

He said to Wade that John Cena is doing same to Barrett since beginning, even at last week super Smackdown cena embarrassed him by beating him and Wade said to Del Rio, he is going to humiliate John Cena in this event before Del Rio puts hands on Cena. If Del Rio wants to give any incentive, he does not any problem with that.

Zack Ryder celebrates victory with John Cena

Zack Ryder met #1 contender John Cena and asked him whether he saw his match or not. He is even given poses to cameras and presented his cooling glasses to John Cena. John Cena said, wearing sun glasses indoor, an idiot can do it but said I am just kidding you and then congratulated him. Later, Zack Ryder continued giving poses to cameras.

John Cena confronts Alberto Del Rio

#1 contender John Cena attended to this super show and received mixed response from fans but his fans’ support dominated the boos. Actually, Cena attended to this event to talk to Del Rio for his attack after his #1 contender’s match. WWE showed that clip and Cena liked it. In fact he was upset for his actions and anxiously waits for him to rip his head off. He demanded Del Rio why he is not going to fight with him.

In few moments, Ricardo Rodriguez appeared on ramp and introduced WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio to WWE Universe. Cena mocked Del Rio’s presence. WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio attended to this event in his $150,000 USD car. He showed his title to WWE Universe most importantly to Cena. Alberto is actually interested to give him a fight chance, reminded Rey Mysterio is not here for longtime because of him, did not want to do it same to Cena but surely gives him a fight chance at Night of champions. That is his specialty.

Alberto Del Rio was not attended to last week to protect Cena. Similarly, he is here to try to protect him, mostly talked about himself but he could not stop himself to introduce some boys who would like to take retribution.

Wade Barrett, Jack Swagger, WWE United States Champion Dolph Ziggler and Christian seriously punished John Cena but Alex Riley, Celtic Warrior Sheamus and John Morrison helped John Cena by attacking them. Finally Sheamus, John Morrison, Cena and Riley cleaned the ring.

Smackdown GM takes Charge of Raw

Surprisingly, Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long came, ordered all superstars to hear his words, later promulgated that Triple H has given authority to Teddy Long if it is necessary. He ordered them to fight in an eight man elimination style tag team match and WWE to send a match referee to this main event.

Match: 6

• Eight man elimination style tag team match

Wade Barrett punches Alex Riley, moved him towards one corner where he powerfully kicked at midsection, head butt but Alex surprised him with belly to back side slam but Barrett also mesmerized him with a spinning side slam, delivered forearm shots to chest from behind, kick to kidney area, hits head to one corner, punched into abdominal area, another punch to head at one corner, did a mistake with big boot at opposite corner because Riley escaped from it. Thus his leg got injured. Later, John Morrison and WWE United States Champion Dolph Ziggler got tags. However, Morrison surprised US Champion with clotheslines, spinning heel kick, also mesmerized him with corkscrew moonsault, then drop kicked both Swagger as well as Wade Barrett when they enter into ring unofficially.

He planned to attack Christian but captain charisma escaped from him by premeditating his trick. Morrison later delivered some punches to U.S Champion, also delivered a pele kick to Christian when the instant classic plans to attack him. Dolph Ziggler utilized it; applied sleeper hold submission and Swagger made tag and simultaneously applied with ankle lock submission. Due to lack of alternative way, John Morrison agreed to eliminate from this match. The Monday night delight left that ring with severe pain. Dolph Ziggler argued with Jack Swagger for his tag and in few moments, Vickie Guerrero came and Jack Swagger was smiled.

WWE U.S Champion dominated Riley by kicking on chest several times at his corner, reversed him, then jumping elbow drop on chest, applied side head lock but delivered some kicks and shots to Alex to control him but Alex destroyed Ziggler with powerful clotheslines, then spinebuster, later attacked Jack Swagger and Wade Barrett. However US Dolph surprised him with leg drop bulldog but Alex did not want to lose this match. Once again, Jack Swagger made tag without Ziggler’s interest to impress Vickie, applied ankle lock submission again but Alex pushed him towards one corner where swagger’s head was hit at same corner. However, Swagger delivered big boot to face, then corner slingshot splash, applied ankle lock submission and made Alex tapped out.

Vickie Guerrero enjoyed her new client’s performance but Dolph seriously considered stealing his spots with arm shot to Swagger’s head. Vickie Guerrero was so impressed, encouraged WWE wrestling fans to support Jack Swagger to fight with Celtic Warrior. Sheamus connected elbow to face, forearm shots to back, knee kick to face, also kicked him at various areas, then shoulder blocks to All American American at one corner, clothesline and then Wade Barrett got tag. Barrett kicked at midsection, punched his head but received several punches in reverse direction. However, Barrett did not allow him to dominate with a knee kick to abs, kicked at kidney area, punch to face, several knee kicks to face and even Ziggler also kicked him illegally.

Wade Barrett successfully delivered a big boot to Celtic Warrior, applied chin lock to control him and then Sheamus reversed him to break his submission. Sheamus later escaped from his attack, attacked him with short arm clotheslines, received a kick to face but damaged back of Wade with a powerslam, attacked Christian, later delivered several forearm smashes on chest and also attacked Swagger when Jack plans to attack Sheamus. Celtic Warrior delivered knee kick to face, high flying shoulder block from top rope, delivered a boot kick to Dolph, received a kick to abs, successfully delivered a brogue kick and pinned Wade Barrett to eliminate him from this match.

The Captain charisma speared Sheamus surprisingly, slapped him and Sheamus seriously considered and chased Christian and even delivered a shoulder block to United States Champion, delivered several punches to Christian, pushed him on steel of entrance at ramp by losing his control. Match referee disqualified both of them due to count out.

Finally, John Cena takes charge, delivered several punches to Jack Swagger, clothesline at opposite corner, pushed Ziggler into air, kicked at midsection, twisted belly to belly suplex but received a drop kick from US Champion. Jack delivered some forearm shots to back, pushed him toward their corner, gave tag to Ziggler and WWE United States Champion punched to Cena’s face powerfully, some kicks on back, another powerful punch to Cena’s face, gave a tag to Swagger and he delivered some kicks to Cena at his corner, applied shoulder breaker, then delivered elbow shots to backbone area but Cena fights back with several punches to Swagger including a kick to abs, attacked Dolph Ziggler, running leaping shoulder blocks to Swagger, slammed them one by one and delivered Five Knuckle Shuffle to both superstars.

John lifted Swagger but quits, attacked Dolph with clothesline but swagger utilized his mistake with a side belly to belly suplex, perfectly delivered corner slingshot splash to Cena, decided to finish him but Ziggler steals his spot by making a tag and swagger got shocked. They both later argued each other but John destroyed him with Attitude of Adjustment. The All American American did not waste his time, applied ankle lock submission but Cena reversed it with STF submission and made Swagger tap out to win this match.
