WWE Raw SuperShow - January 2, 2012

Raw SuperShow is a #1 longest running weekly wrestling entertaining live event of World Wrestling Entertainment. WWE conducts its January 2, 2012 Raw SuperShow wrestling edition at FedExForum, Memphis, Tennessee to entertain WWE Universe. It is first Raw SuperShow of 2012 year and 972nd weekly wrestling edition as per its history. Storyline of this wrestling edition is scripted as per December 26, 2011 Monday night Raw SuperShow as well as previous annual wrestling pay per view main event Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2011. Similarly, it develops story January 9, 2012 Raw SuperShow as well as next professional wrestling pay per view WWE Royal Rumble 2012.

John Cena attended to this first Raw SuperShow of 2012 but received mixed reaction from WWE Universe. Justin Roberts requested people to invite John Cena but once again same reaction. However, John Cena takes it easy.

John Cena reveals his New Year Resolutions & Said Happy New Year to fans

John Cena could not say what to say but finally said Happy New Year to all wrestling fans. Some people insulted him but remaining people chanted let us go Cena. He said, New Year means time for celebration, resolution, decided to do some changed in his attitude, first resolution he would like to worry about his business and second resolution his father was banned from WWE television programs. That’s why he did not appear in Christmas celebrations. Third and most important resolution, he encouraged people to come to WrestleMania 28. People chanted The Rock’s name for some time. He would like to show what he is after slapping The Rock. He assured that things will not be changed. Since last ten years, he has been in WWE.

After years, he remains same. Words Hustle, Loyalty, Respect do not chance and never falls down. He often said, John Cena could not judge character but focused on war. He was emotional last week but it was not for anyone of wrestling fan. He knew people spend their hard earned money to watch this program. People have the right to say anything and can do whatever they want to do. However, he was disappointed because of Kane. He understood that the iconic wrestling superstar has a problem with him but encouraged him to settle in this wrestling edition. Not only in this event and every night, he does not allow him to handle him.

Whether people like him or not, the entire response goes to backstage. Mr. Cena would like to enjoy continuous any response from WWE universe. He would like to start this year by saying thanks to people. Not just for me but the big red machine Kane’s music hits.

Kane disappoints John Cena again

Kane was not appeared but his voice said, Cena, Cena, Cena. The big red monster suggested him to do whatever he wants to do but John Cena will raise hate. He will personally witness the true power of hate. He laughed evilly. John Cena was once again upset after hearing his words.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan attended to this Monday night Raw SuperShow. Justin Roberts announced a wrestling match, introduced him and in few moments WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes attended to this wrestling edition as Bryan’s opponent.

Match: 1

• Daniel Bryan Vs Cody Rhodes in Champion Vs Champion match

The Intercontinental Champion kicked at midsection, punches to face but world champion blocked it, surprised him with several repeated roundhouse kicks to chest as well as to face, got a big boot at opposite corner and Cody Rhodes powerfully turned left hand. Dashing one kicked on injured shoulder, applied hammer lock, hits to one corner, kicked into abdominal area, powerful shot on same shoulder, pulled it down powerfully, turned it and reversed him. He applied figure four hand lock, again applied hammerlock, powerful punch to backbone, raised his hand but got a reverse elbow.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion fights back with repeated hand punches, performed forearm clothesline, roundhouse kick to chest but Rhodes punched to face. Rhodes plans to send him to outside of the ring but Bryan threw him to outside surprisingly. World Champion even attacked him with a flying clothesline at outside of the ring but his opponent escaped from his flying move. Cody surprised him with snake eyes, then also surprised with Beautiful Disaster, performed front slam but Daniel Bryan surprised Cody Rhodes by pinning him.

John Laurinaitis watches Raw SuperShow at backstage, simultaneously busy with his mobile phone but someone knocked his office door but people booed him. In few moments, the awesome one Miz appeared.

Miz forces John Laurinaitis to take action on R Truth

The Interim General Manager would like to know what he is expecting from him. The Miz talked about R Truth’s actions last week. The executive vice president of talent relations confirmed that whatever R Truth did to him last week was unprofessional. The awesome one seriously considered and asked him why he is not taken any action on him and decided to go to home. GM understood him, knew the reason of his attack and showed why R Truth turned on him by showing the clipping from two weeks ago Raw SuperShow. John Laurinaitis revealed this is reason for his action but observed Miz got scared. He arranged a wrestling match with Sheamus but Miz did not consider it as funny. He left that place but at outside of the GM’s office, R Truth looked at him but acted as Duck.

Wade Barrett plans to win Royal Rumble

Wade Barrett came out. Justin Roberts announced a wrestling match and introduced him to WWE Universe. He is not come out to say Happy New Year to anybody because he doesn’t care about people’s New Year celebrations. However he would like to give a fantastic 2012 to people and decided to divide Randy Orton from 2012. In fact he never planned for what he did to Orton at last week Friday night Smackdown but finalized either Wade Barrett or Randy Orton should be in this business. He stated Randy Orton is the new victim in his Barrett Barrage but Orton was his past and interested to look at future. In other words, he is actually looking on 30 man over the top rope royal rumble to get the main event opportunity at WrestleMania but Santino Marella music hits.

Justin Roberts introduced Santino Marella is Barrett’s opponent, did cat walk around the ring and interacted with wrestling fans.

Santino Marella revealed why he is going to win Royal Rumble

Santino Marella reminded he was eliminated as last person in last year’s Royal Rumble wrestling match but it was not Wade Barrett. Just like last year, Wade Barrett will be eliminated but Santino Marella is going to win the match.

Match: 2

• Wade Barrett Vs Santino Marella

The Bare Knuckle Brawler surprised his opponent with boxing punches but got a punch to midsection. The Milan Miracle used his trick but Barrett did not catch to it and he kicked on head. Barrett punched to face, raised hand, pushed him towards a corner where he punches top head, midsection and kicked at midsection but Santino escaped from his intelligently and Barrett injured himself by punching on one corner. The Italian Stallion was ready to deliver cobra but got a powerful super kick. Wade Barrett damaged shoulder with one corner’s steel ring pole, performed Winds of Change and pinned him successfully.

Wade Barrett felt very happy but wrestling fans did not like it. Justin Roberts promulgated Wade Barrett is winner of this match and match referee officially raised his hand to inform that he is victorious.

Bella Twins tease Miz

The Bella Twins discussed about The Miz in front of Miz. One Bella said it was not Miz’s fault but another bella said it is Miz fault. The Miz did not give much importance to their discussion but asked them have they seen R Truth anywhere? Nikki replied, No but saw little Jimmy but Miz insulted her.

The Miz carefully observes at entrance area but R Truth was hidden behind door cotton and signalled people to maintain some silence.

The Celtic Warrior Sheamus attended to this wrestling match. Justin Roberts announced a wrestling match, introduced him and then the awesome one came out with fear about R Truth.

• The Miz Vs Sheamus

The Awesome one kicked at midsection, quickly performed snap DDT, did not chance to his opponent with repeated punches and twisted left hand of Sheamus with bottom and middle ring ropes. However, The Irish Curse punches to him, then kicked at face and saved his leg. The Celtic Warrior was exploded, punished him with Irish Riestra , chased Miz when Miz escapes from Sheamus through crowd.

R Truth said, surprise, surprise, surprise I was watching your match in crowd. Little jimmy said he does not like Miz and Little Jimmy also says he gets and got. The Miz was shocked seeing R Truth in crowd, decided to escape from him through ramp but Sheamus surprised him with Brogue kick. This match was stopped officially. R Truth brought a water bottle from announce table and hits his head with that bottle and returned to backstage. R Truth got people support and one wrestling fan who is a kid said Happy New Year to R Truth.

Josh Mathews interviews Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler did exercise. Vickie Guerrero sets his hair. Josh Mathews would like to know the changes of his victory in WWE Championship match against CM Punk. Dolph Ziggler talked about his last week victory, interested to do it in every single night, stated himself as walking surprise but he wants to win WWE Championship title. After in this wrestling event, Dolph Ziggler becomes new WWE Champion.

John Laurinaitis settles problem between Zack Ryder and Jack Swagger

WWE United States Champion Zack Ryder and Eve Torres recollected their tag team victory happiness but Jack Swagger came there. Zack Ryder would like to know about him but Jack Swagger said not good Zack. Swagger said Zack is impersonating United States Championship. Ryder did some fun with him. Swagger said I am the All American American and born to win United States Championship title. He would like to take his girlfriend. The Interim Raw GM John Laurinaitis came, reminded he is the executive vice president of talent relations and interim General Manager of Monday night Raw. He put both of them in a six man team match. Jack Swagger is going to team up with Mark Henry and Kane. Similarly, Zack Ryder is going to team up with John Cena and Big Show.

Justin Roberts announced a WWE Championship match. WWE Champion CM Punk came out with wrestling fans amazing outstanding ovation. Similarly, Dolph Ziggler also attended to this Monday night live show to face champion along with Vickie Guerrero. Vickie Guerrero signalled people to stand on their feet to give ovation to Dolph. Justin Roberts introduced Dolph Ziggler and then introduced WWE Champion CM Punk to WWE Universe. Punk surrendered his title to match and match referee showed it to WWE Universe as well as Dolph Ziggler.

On December 26, 2011 last Monday night Raw SuperShow, the Raw Interim General Manager and CM Punk were agreed to face each other in Chicago if CM Punk defeats three opponents in three different Gauntlet matches. Otherwise, whoever defeats him in Gauntlet match gets a WWE Championship match in this Raw SuperShow. WWE Champion successfully defeated Jack Swagger in first Gauntlet match but defeated by Dolph Ziggler in second Gauntlet match. Hence, Dolph Ziggler faces CM Punk for WWE Championship title in this live edition.

Match: 4

• CM Punk Vs Dolph Ziggler for WWE Championship

They both wrestling superstars hardly tried to dominate each other but The Second City Saint tried to pin him several times. Later, Punk applied full nelson to control him opponent and similarly Ziggler also planned to pin him. WWE Universe boosted champion but Vickie did not like it and scold them. The Second City Savior punch to face, elbows to stomach, backbreaker but the nature controlled champion with some shoulder blocks at one corner where he punched on head several times. Dolph also punched on face in middle of the ring, performed jumping elbow drop but Punk escaped from it and challenger’s elbow got injured. The straightedge superstar slammed him, performed leg drop on chest five times, applied chin lock, surprised him with clothesline but Ziggler surprised his opponent with flapjack on ring ropes.

Dolph Ziggler kicked on back several times, performed swinging neckbreaker, successfully performed standing elbow drop on chest, elbow drop on face, applied necklock but The Voice of The Voiceless kicked on his competitor’s leg, punched to midsection as well as face, reverse kick and Ziggler was fallen to outside of the ring. He decided to perform suicide dive through ring ropes but attacked his opponent from outside. The man who earned the right to champion performed swinging neckbreaker on middle rope; both superstars exchanged punches but CM Punk dominated him in punch game. However, Dolph Ziggler surprised him with sleeper hold but surprised by belly to belly side suplex and then heel kick.

Vickie Guerrero was astounded. Dolph Ziggler performed European uppercut to oncoming opponent but surprised by Olympic slam. They both hardly tried to pin each other. Ziggler quickly delivered leg drop bulldog, performed body avalanche to cornered opponent, inverted body slam, planned to perform zig zag to cornered opponent but WWE Champion escaped from his move by holding one corner but corner’s protective sponge was removed accidentally. CM Punk attacked with Step-up high knee to a cornered Ziggler, performed single hand bulldog, decided to send him to Go To Sleep but surprisingly interim General Manager John Laurinaitis came, diverted match referee by talking about the security sponge of corner; as per the order of his boss match referee involved in setting the protective sponge to its position but at middle of the ring CM Punk applied Anaconda vise to tap out his opponent and succeeded but match referee did not see it.

CM Punk was discouraged by seeing the drama of GM but escaped from Dolph Ziggler’s attack from behind and accidentally Dolph Ziggler attacks John Laurinaitis. However, Dolph Ziggler did not give chance to champion, pushed CM Punk towards GM and John Laurinaitis pulled top rope and WWE Champion was fallen to outside of the ring. Match referee counted ten and CM Punk was unable to respond because of injury and match referee considered Dolph Ziggler is winner of this match by countout.

As a result of countout match referee stopped this match, informed to Justin Roberts that Dolph Ziggler is winner of this match. Justin Roberts promulgated Dolph Ziggler is winner of this match but not won WWE Championship title. However, Dolph Ziggler took WWE Championship title from time keeper but celebrated his victory like champion. Match referee and CM Punk were both shocked by seeing his celebration. Vickie Guerrero enjoyed it. CM Punk seriously considered, decided to chase him but Dolph Ziggler escaped from him through crowd.

The Bella Twins Brie and Nikkie attended to this live wrestling event. Justin Roberts announced a divas tag team match, introduced them. After that Kelly Kelly and then Eve Torres also come out with wrestling fans great ovation.

Match: 5

• Nikki & Brie Bella Vs Eve Torres & Kelly Kelly in divas tag team match

Brie Bella slapped on buttock of Kelly Kelly romantically but Kelly Kelly slapped her face seriously and also slapped on her buttocks. She later hits head to one corner, disrespected her with Stink face but Brie escaped from single hand bulldog and hits head to ground. Nikki got tag and Bella Twins turned both hands and hit head to ground. Kelly Kelly surprised Nikki with a stunner, escaped from her opponent and gave tag to her tag team partner Eve. Eve performed clothesline, then standing dropkick twice, kicked at midsection, step up kick to face, another clothesline, decided to perform standing moonsault but Brie mocked Torres.

Eve seriously considered, dropkicked at legs of Brie and Brie Bella was fallen to outside. Nikki utilized it, kicked at midsection, pushed her towards one corner where she got a reverse elbow. Eve Torres kicked at face at same corner, performed moonsault from top rope but Brie attacked her and replaced herself by pushing Nikki to outside. Brie Bella successfully pinned Eve Torres but match referee did not observe it.

At outside of the ring Bella Twins celebrated their victory, mocked Eve and Kelly Kelly and in ring Eve and Kelly Kelly were discouraged.

The executive vice president of talent relations and current Interim General Manager John Laurinaitis checks condition of his injured right hand. David Otunga also observed him. In few moments WWE Champion CM Punk came there frustratingly. David Otunga tried to cool him.

CM Punk confronts Interim General Manager John Laurinaitis

CM Punk ordered David Otunga to shut his mouth, reminded GM that for the last two weeks John Laurinaitis has screwed him, made him to lose his match last week and also this week he planned to cost his title. Punk knew his evil personality hide behind his suit but for him it was disrespectful. John Laurinaitis said it was not his fault but Dolph Ziggler defeated him twice. Therefore he would like to offer a championship match to Dolph Ziggler at Royal Rumble pay per view and appointed himself as special guest referee for that match. CM Punk seriously considered but ready for everything if GM plans to screw him at Royal Rumble or plans to sue him or plans to put him in jail. He assured that he beat him cruelly.

Chris Jericho returned to WWE

People anxiously wait for the mysterious superstar. People guessed he is Chris Jericho and chanted Y2J. Their guest was correct and first ever WWE undisputed champion Y2J Chris Jericho appeared on ramp. WWE Universe stood on their feet and said welcome to this greatest wrestler. Chris Jericho was excited by seeing his fans once again. He observed people’s support and interacted with wrestling fans around the ring. He took some pictures with fans, re-entered into ring and took microphone. People started chanting Y2J. He encouraged people to come on. Once again people started chanting Y2J. He encouraged them to give ovation to him. People did it. He walked from one corner to another repeatedly to hear people’s response.

Chris Jericho left ring, interacted with fans again, re-entered into ring again; enjoyed people’s support, dropped microphone, encouraged people to enjoy his return. People did it but Chris Jericho left the ring, interacted with fans around the ring, took camera from cameraman and pictured his fans, interacted with fans and stood on ramp. Once again he enjoyed people’s support and returned to backstage.

The world’s largest athlete Big Show attended to this wrestling event. Justin Roberts announced a six man tag team elimination match and introduced him. WWE United States Champion Zack Ryder attended to this match, captured some pictures from fans and in few moments John Cena also attended to this wrestling event but got good response. World’s strongest man Mark Henry came out. The All American American Jack Swagger comes out. The big red monster Kane’s music hits but he did not come out strangely.

David Otunga came, talked to match referee and Justin Roberts. Justin Roberts announced that Kane is not participating in this match. Therefore, superstars can start this match.

Match: 6

• Mark Henry, Jack Swagger & Kane Vs John Cena, Big Show & Zack Ryder in six man elimination style tag team match

Jack Swagger applied side headlock, delivered shoulder block to control John Cena but hip tosses Swagger surprisingly. The marine slammed him at middle of the ring, elbow drop on chest, powerfully pushed him towards one corner, then dropkicked, got a kick to face and after that Jack Swagger powerfully pushed Cena towards one corner where he presented swagger bomb his back got injured by Cena’s back body drop. The world’s largest athlete got tag, attacked Swagger with clotheslines, dropped his weight on Jack at one corner, then shoulder block, decided to eliminate him with knockout punch but Jack Swagger gave tag to his tag team partner Mark Henry.

The world’s strongest man and largest athletes punched each other but Big Show controlled him with headbutt, flying shoulder block and Mark Henry simply went to outside of the ring and took a steel chair to attack him but the giant punched that steel chair. Big Show attacked Mark Henry with a steel chair shot on back. Match referee seriously considered and disqualified Big Show and then ordered him to go to backstage. John Cena and Zack Ryder were shocked but Big Show was returned to backstage discouragingly.

WWE United States Champion quickly escaped from Jack, attacked him with flying forearm smash, clothesline, double high knee to oncoming Swagger at one corner, delivered Broski Boot, decided to perform Rough Ryder but the All American American transferred it into ankle lock submission. However, after serious painful moments, Zack Ryder gave a tag to his partner and John Cena entered into ring, surprised him with running leaping shoulder blocks, performed Protobomb, five knuckle shuffle and attitude of adjustment and pinned him to eliminate from the match.

Kane intimidates John Cena & Zack Ryder

Surprisingly, the big red monster Kane music hits, John Cena waits for his arrival at ramp but Kane ripped ring’s base and attacked Zack Ryder and also attacked John Cena by making Cena not to take breath and made Cena unconscious. The big red monster left him at outside, entered into ring to concentrate on WWE United States Champion, pulled him down into base of the ring but John Cena pulled his friend in opposite direction and saved him. In few moments, Kane released his reddish fire from bottom of the ring. John Cena and WWE United States Champion Zack Ryder were in shock. In this way, WWE ended its first Raw SuperShow episode of 2012 year.
