World Wrestling Entertainment conducted a feature wrestling match which is a Champion Vs Champion match between WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio and WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk at WWE Smackdown on July 24, 2009. CM Punk music hits and WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk appeared in this wrestling event. WWE Smackdown brand ring announcer Justin Roberts introduced CM Punk to this wrestling event. WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk entered into wrestling ring and waits for his opponent WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio.

In few moments, Rey Mysterio music hits and WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio appeared in this wrestling event. WWE Smackdown brand ring announcer Justin Roberts introduced Rey Mysterio to this wrestling event. Rey Mysterio presented his mask to one kid whose is Max Sidoti and WWE Magazine contest winner. Rey Mysterio entered into wrestling ring and ready to face WWE World heavyweight champion CM Punk. Match referee rings bell and started this wrestling match officially. CM Punk and Rey Mysterio faced each other. CM punk applied hammer lock and Rey Mysterio reversed CM Punk to break hammer lock.

CM punk kicked Rey Mysterio legs to damage his knees. CM Punk increased pressure over Rey Mysterio’s left knee. Rey Mysterio kicked CM Punk to break his pressure over his knee. CM punk well controlled Rey Mysterio and locked his head. Rey Mysterio jumped over CM Punk’s head and submitted pin fall but CM Punk quickly responded to save this wrestling match. Rey Mysterio and CM Punk both quickly tried to submit pin falls but failed. CM Punk and Rey Mysterio insulted each other and Rey Mysterio pushed CM punk back. Similarly, CM Punk also pushed Rey Mysterio back with frustration.

Rey Mysterio gave two shots to damage CM Punk’s knees. However, CM Punk kicked into Rey Mysterio’s stomach area. CM Punk damaged Rey Mysterio’s shoulder with the help of steel ring pole. CM punk submitted pin fall but Rey Mysterio rejected pin fall. CM punk locked Rey Mysterio head with head lock. Rey Mysterio kicked into CM Punk’s stomach in order to unlock Head lock. Rey Mysterio reversed CM Punk but received a shoulder block from CM Punk. CM punk kicked into stomach area and tried to break his left hand fingers. Rey Mysterio reduced pressure with the help of ring ropes and gave powerful hand punches.

Rey Mysterio reduced pressure on his arm. Rey Mysterio and CM Punk kicked each other. CM Punk gave a punch to Rey Mysterio. CM Punk damaged his left hand twice. Similarly, CM punk damaged his arm with shoulder block. CM punk submitted pin fall but Rey Mysterio rejected his pin fall. WWE World heavyweight Champion CM Punk increased pressure on his hand. Rey Mysterio gave two punches into his stomach area but received a shot from CM Punk. CM Punk increased pressure on both hands and Rey Mysterio feels powerful pain. This wrestling feat attracted wrestling fans. Rey Mysterio broke his feat and reversed him.

Rey Mysterio damaged his face with one corner of the wrestling ring. In few moments, competitor of WWE Intercontinental Championship Dolph Ziggler came. Rey Mysterio and CM punk gave leg shots each other. Rey Mysterio gives powerful punches to CM Punk. CM punk threw Rey Mysterio but received a cross body. CM Punk kicked into his stomach area. Rey Mysterio drop kicked WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and submitted pin fall but CM Punk rejected his pin fall. Dolph Ziggler carefully watches their wrestling performance by standing at outside of the wrestling ring.

Rey Mysterio break his arm and kicked into his stomach area. Rey Mysterio reversed him but CM punk reversed him by controlling his force. However, Rey Mysterio gave a boot shot when CM punk tried to attack him at one corner of the wrestling ring. Rey Mysterio is ready to present 619 but failed because CM punk already expected his next move. CM Punk threw his body back but Rey Mysterio well balanced his body. Rey Mysterio gave a powerful elbow shot and jumped on CM punk. Dolph Ziggler argued with Rey Mysterio and attacked by the Rey Mysterio.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion gave a drop kick. CM punk submitted pin fall but WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio rejected his pin fall. Rey Mysterio tried to control CM punk but CM punk threw Rey Mysterio towards one corner of the wrestling ring. CM punk quickly connected knee to Rey Mysterio at same corner. However, Rey Mysterio tried 619 but CM Punk gave a head butt into his stomach. CM punk threw Rey Mysterio to outside of the wrestling ring but Rey Mysterio well balanced his body. Rey Mysterio jumped over CM Punk but CM Punk cleaned route to give Go to Sleep. However, Rey Mysterio surprised him with face burst.

Rey Mysterio connected 619 to CM punk and dropped his body over CM Punk. Rey Mysterio submitted pin fall but Dolph Ziggler interrupted pin fall and seriously injured Rey Mysterio. Match referee disqualified CM Punk. Rey Mysterio tried to give 619 to Dolph Ziggler but CM Punk injured Rey Mysterio. Dolph Ziggler destroyed him with Zig Zag twice. In few moments, Jeff hardy appeared in this wrestling event and hits CM Punk and entered into wrestling ring, saved Rey Mysterio. WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk also quickly entered into wrestling ring and lifted Jeff Hardy. CM punk gave Go to Sleep (GTS) to Jeff Hardy.
