Rey Mysterio music hits and appeared at WWE Smackdown on August 28, 2009. WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio received good response from wrestling fans. Justin Roberts introduced Rey Mysterio to this wrestling event. Rey Mysterio interacted with wrestling fans and entered into wrestling ring. In few moments, Kane music hits and appeared in this wrestling edition. Smackdown ring announcer Justin Roberts also introduced Kane to this weekly wrestling event. Kane entered into wrestling ring to face Rey Mysterio 619. Match referee started this wrestling match officially by giving signal to the time keeper in order to ring bell. Kane kicked into his stomach and then gave powerful hand shot on his back. Rey Mysterio received a hand punch from Kane. Kane continuously kicked WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio. Kane lifted Rey Mysterio and dropped his body.

Kane dropped an elbow over Rey Mysterio. Kane covered Rey Mysterio to submit pin fall but Rey Mysterio rejected his pin fall in order to save this wrestling match. Kane and Rey Mysterio reached one corner of the wrestling ring where Kane gave a powerful hand shots on his face repeatedly. Match referee gave a warning to Kane. Kane received a leg shot from Rey Mysterio. Rey Mysterio kicked on his leg and gave continuous hand shots on his face. Rey Mysterio escaped from Kane but received a closeline. Kane covered Rey Mysterio by submitting pin fall but Rey Mysterio rejected his pin fall in order to save this wrestling match. The big red machine Kane lifted Rey Mysterio and slammed his body with sidebar slam. Kane covered WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio to submit pin fall but Rey Mysterio rejected his pin fall in order to save this wrestling match. Kane increased pressure on his chest area.

Later, Kane gave a hand shot on his head. Kane gave two hand shots to Rey Mysterio. Similarly, Rey Mysterio also gave two elbow shots to Kane. Kane reversed Rey Mysterio from one corner to opposite corner of the wrestling ring. Kane received a boot shot from Rey Mysterio when Kane tried to attack Rey Mysterio. Kane seriously decided to attack Rey Mysterio but Rey Mysterio escaped intelligently. Later, Rey Mysterio reversed Kane by locking head of the Kane with his two legs. Rey Mysterio later jumped over Kane. However, Kane later tried to control Rey Mysterio but Rey Mysterio dropped his body over Kane.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio covered the big red machine Kane by submitting pin fall but Rey Mysterio rejected his pin fall in order to save this wrestling match. Rey Mysterio goes top rope and jumped over Kane but Kane gave a powerful uppercut to Rey Mysterio. At this time time, the big red machine Kane covered WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio but Rey Mysterio rejected his pin fall in order to save this wrestling match. Kane reversed Rey Mysterio and Rey Mysterio jumped over Kane but Kane caught WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio. Kane later threw him but Rey Mysterio well balanced. Kane decided to attack Rey Mysterio but Rey Mysterio drop kicked on his knee to set Kane to present 619. However, Kane caught Rey Mysterio for chock slam but Rey Mysterio once again reversed him to give 619. However, Kane went to outside of the wrestling ring. Rey Mysterio drop kicked Kane from wrestling ring.

Rey Mysterio jumped over Kane but Kane escaped intelligently. In few moments, Kane gave a powerful boot shot to Rey Mysterio at outside of the wrestling ring. Later, Kane damaged back of the Rey Mysterio with security wall. Kane damaged his stomach by hitting to steel ring pole. Match referee gave a final warning to the big red machine Kane. However, Kane does not listen match referee and destroyed WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio by hitting to steel ring pole. Match referee disqualified Kane and World Wrestling Entertainment announced Rey Mysterio as winner of this wrestling match. Later, Kane threw Rey Mysterio into wrestling ring. However, The Great Khali music hits and appeared in this Smackdown edition. Ranjin Singh also appeared in this wrestling event. The Great Khali entered into wrestling ring and blocked Kane’s hand shots and then threw Kane to outside of the wrestling ring.

Ranjin Singh injured Kane with a stick. Kane seriously considered and decided to chock slam but The Great Khali destroyed Kane with four powerful stick shots. Later, The Great Khali, Kane and Ranjin Singh went to backstage. In few moments, Dolph Ziggler entered into wrestling ring and destroyed him with Zig Zag. As we already know, Dolph Ziggler defeated Finlay and Mike Knox in a triple threat match to become new #1 contender of the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WWE Superstars on August 27, 2009. Dolph Ziggler reserved a wrestling match with WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio at Breaking Point.
