Vickie Guerrero arranged a wrestling match between Beth Phoenix and Miss WrestleMania Santina Marella at WWE Raw on May 11, 2009. Beth Phoenix appeared in this wrestling edition with Rosa Mendes. Similarly, Miss WrestleMania Santina Marella also appeared in this wrestling event to face Beth Phoenix. Santina Marella received excellent response from wrestling fans. Beth Phoenix successfully handled Santina Marella and eliminated to outside of the wrestling ring.

Santina Marella tried different tricks but Beth Phoenix successfully handled Santina Marella. Beth Phoenix applied abdominal stretch but Santina Marella slammed Beth Phoenix. Similarly, Santina Marella defeated Beth Phoenix through pin fall. Later, Santina Marella shared his victory with match referee by hugging match referee. Match referee shocked and ran to outside of the ring. Beth Phoenix frustrated and returned to backstage with Rosa Mendes.
