World Wrestling Federation conducted WWF Championship match between Shawn Michaels and World Wrestling Federation Champion Bret Hart at Survivor Series on November 7, 1997. This wrestling match completely changed the career of the legendary Bret the hitman Hart, which means Bret Hart’s career was over in World Wrestling Federation. This screw job popularly called as Montreal Screwjob because this wrestling main event conducted in Montreal, Quebec. In this match, Senior match referee Earl Hebner took very complicated decision as per WWF’s order.
Actually, Vince McMahon was unable to give priority to hitman due to financial problems and tough competition from WCW in 1997. Bret Hart already achieved 14 years bright growth in WWF. However, World Wrestling Federation decided to release Bret Hart from wrestling business and forced him to lose his matches to his opponents especially for Shawn Michaels but Bret Hart rejected to lose his matches.
