The Gold Standard Shelton Benjamin appeared to ECW wrestling edition on September 1, 2009 to face his last week tag team partner Zack Ryder. Actually, Zack Ryder did not like Shelton Benjamin but teamed up with Shelton Benjamin in last week ECW wrestling edition to face Yoshi Tatsu and Tyler Reks as per ECW general manager Tiffany’s order but they lost their tag team match mainly due to Zack Ryder’s irresponsible attitude. Shelton Benjamin seriously considered and claimed a match with Zack Ryder in this ECW wrestling event.

ECW ring announcer Tony Chimel introduced Shelton Benjamin and then Zack Ryder to this wrestling edition. At the starting of this wrestling match, Zack Ryder insulted Shelton Benjamin to divert his concentration. Zack Ryder gave good starting to this wrestling match with his fast wrestling performance. However, Shelton Benjamin surprised Zack Ryder by showing his experienced wrestling performance and defeated him through pin fall. Wrestling fans appreciated Shelton Benjamin’s effort and performance.
